What a wonderful place to stay, you will not be disappointed. The attentiveness of the Becucci family and the high standards in which they keep their establishment is a fine complement to the location of this hotel, set to the backdrop of fantastic Tuscan countryside. The food and wine is excellent, the room spotless, the bathroom well maintained and the cheery disposition of my hosts, priceless.

Gloomy. I booked this hotel solely on other reviews and was misled. We stayed at two other hotels in Tuscany which we so enjoyed. I feel it important that ALL reviews should be counted.

Accueil charmant et attentionné. Chambres très propres mais un peu étriquées. Insonorisation perfectible. A 15 minutes de Florence, sortie Firenze Certosa.Restaurant au dernier étage sur toit terrasse panoramique.

Very nice family run hotel, in the middle of Impruneta. Lovely roofterrace where you can enjoy a homecooked dinner or just a drink. Breakfast ok but not much to choose from, just the basic. Easy with free parking and many spaces. Close to Firenze airport so you can stay here if you need to catch a flight.

We received a warm welcome and any help needed from the family running the hotel. Impruneta is a nice city on the hills of Tuscany, to Florence one can take the bus cheaply and conveniently, the other important places can be easily reached by car. We, a couple slightly beyond 60, enjoyed our stay, the cuisine and the wine in "Bellavista" and could recommend it to all those who want to enjoy arts and history of Tuscany and do not miss a Disco nearby nor urban life in the night.

A very welcoming hotel just a few minutes from Florence. Family-owned and operated, it feels like coming home after a long day filled with activities. Excellent restaurant featuring typical local cuisine. The owners are extremely helpful and do everything to make you feel welcome.

We found this a very nice well run family owned hotel, where all the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms were of a reasonable size, clean and well appointed, the bathroom while small, very functional and the fittings and decor were of a very good standard. The restaurant was of a high quality serving locally based dishes and had a very nice view over the town and the surrounding countryside from the rooftop terrace. Impruneta is a nice busy little town with nice surroundings and the hotel is just off the main square (handy for the bus stop just across the square for Florence etc and the buses are frequent and reliable) so the noise of daily life does filter through the windows. We had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again.

The owners were very nice(one of them even knew some words in Portuguese),the hotel is in a historic building, but it was recentely refurbushed, so everything is new, the room was big, and the bathroom very nice and clean. The roof top restaurant is excellent, the food was explendid, and has a very nice view. We travelled through Italy, Austria, Germany and Portugal and staied in three stars hotels, and this one was one of the best.

Delightful and convenient location and friendly hosts. Easy access to most parts of Tuscany. Roof-top restaurant in hotel available with splendid views. Slightly expensive meals (particularly drink), but extremely convenient and good quality. The hotel staff could not be more helpful or friendly, and I would not hesitate recommending the hotel or returning there.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel. Neat and cosy! The family who own and run the hotel have provided maps and all sort of information about places to visit! Having read previous comments, I couldn't fail to notice the one from Mr and Mrs Dell'Erba which wasn't in line with the other ones. So I got in touch with the owners and asked to have a look at the rooms where this family had stayed. I found out that we were staying in one of them. I must say it's the opposite of what they describe. The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms, with a power shower! You usually expect luxury bathrooms like these in four star hotels. We would definitely stay at Hotel Bellavista again and will recommend it to my friends and family! Thank you for the lovely time we had there!! Mr and Mrs Davies

Several good points - the staff were very friendly and helpful, also it was good to be able to leave the car at the hotel and travel into Florence by bus. However we stayed at the hotel during the week of the local fair - we were given no advance warning of this. This meant that on the day of our arrival it was impossible to get into Impruneta, we had to leave the car a mile away from the hotel and walk in. Also the room was very noisy. The breakfasts at the hotel were OK, but not as good as at any of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Italy.

This hotel was a perfect base for exploring Florence (a 30 min bus ride away, the bus stop is right across the street) and the Tuscany region. We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, due largely to the friendliness and helpfulness of the family who runs it. They were great about giving us maps, directions, and tips about where to sightsee and how to get there. The hotel rooms are fairly large compared to the other hotels where we stayed, particularly the bathrooms. The hotel also has a great restaurant (breakfast is included) and free parking. The only problems we had were noise...the first night there was a late-night delivery, the sounds of which echoed throughout the halls, and we were awakened each morning at 7am by the belltower right across the street. Overall, however, this was one of our favorite hotels on our 2 week vacation, and we would definitely recommend it.

I booked 2 rooms for my parents and sisters, while I was staying somewhere else. Well... I think they will never forgive me for the experience! They were given 2 small tiny bedrooms with even smaller bathrooms. The 2 rooms were next door the hotel's restaurant and sleeping was ABSOLUTELY impossible! At some point some restaurant's customers knocked on their doors... for fun! The rooms were booked for 2 nights, they left after the 1st one!!

We enjoyed our stay here. This is a great place to stay if your visiting northern Tuscany and Florence, if you want to stay out of the big city. Roberta and Joseph, were very hospitable, and spoke faily good english. No probem with reservations, rooms were ready for us. Their two sons, Matthew and Tomas, were very helpful with directions and spoke very good english. Food was fabulous. We ate dinner both nights and it was very, very good and priced reasonably for Italy. Breakfast was complimentary and sufficient. We would recommend this hotel to any one and would stay here again. Only problem was that it is a little hard to find this city on the map provided, you have to watch the signs very closely, but it is easy to find the hotel once you get into the town.

A small hotel located at the centre of the town. It views the main square where you can find bank, post office, bus stop to Firenze, church and an open market on Saturdays. Rooms are ok. Hotel personnel are very helpful. Breakfast is regular italian but the best thing is the owner of the hotel replaces every empty basket with a new one on the breakfast table. A perfect stop for those who does not want to stay in expensive hotels of Firenze, as impruneta is only 12 km to Firenze and there are busses in every half an hour. If you are late at night, taxis from Firenze to Impruneta are around 35 Euro.

First visit touring Italy and can't recommend this small provincial hotel enough. We stayed two nights in June and wished we had booked for longer. Made to feel very very welcome and special by the whole family;Italian hospitality at its best. Breakfast good with fresh produce, evening meals in the restaurant are excellent; locals eat here. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished with new en-suite bathrooms with a power shower. Only 30 -40 minutes by bus from Florence so don't even think about taking the car. Good location to use as a base for whole of Tuscany. We will return next year for much longer. Highly recommended. Geoff & Sheila Crisp, UK

It was like staying in a family home. Nothing was too much trouble & all staff made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The only downside was the proximity to the bell tower, a beautiful feature, & hardly the fault of the Bellavista, but those seeking a lie in should be aware that it can toll up to a 100 times from around 7am!! However I cannot recommend the Hotel highly enough. The food was exemplary & we will certainly book again if we're in this area.

The owners of this small hotel are wonderful. They helped us with directions to Florence as well as other places. They also gave us walks we could take through the country. There is a small restaurant downstairs that they also own and run, excellent food. The Bisteca alla Florentine is exceptional. This is a place we would stay again. It is only 7 km to Florence.

A wonderful hotel in a delightful small town location near Firenze. The family/owners could not do enough to assist their guests - they offered excellent advice, directions, and recommendations. The rooms were all unique with some interesting angles, but warm and welcoming with state of the art facilities (the shower in one room was a full body 'spa' shower. In our other room, the shower was large enough to hold a dance in!). We had a wonderful evening meal at this hotel, and enjoyed coffee in the little sitting room. We also enjoyed a market in the town of Impruneta on the afternoon we arrived (Sunday). I would definitely stay here again, but for longer!

On our first trip to Italy, we stayed at the Bellavista Impruneta which was our home base for 9 days. We couldn't have made a better choice! The family that owns and operates the hotel, parents and two sons, not only run a fine hotel and restaurant, but are genuinely kind and sensitive people. They are immediately likable and they define customer service. The location is perfect. Half an hour to Florence by car or bus (take the bus, Florence is no fun to drive in). The town of Impruneta is within an hours drive of some of the most beautiful and fasinating towns in Italy. It's a small town with a lot of character and everything you need within walking distance. The people, the food, the culture; we're ready to return! Ann and Frank Rocchi

Excellent. Located in the country, so it is not as hot as in Florence. Easy to find, big parking, 30 min from Florence by bus. The bus is air conditioned and costs 1 Euro. Nice rooms, excellent bathroom, the best restaurant in the area with a terrace on the roof, friendly staff. I expected 3* and was pleasantly surprised on arrival.

The hotel was a welcome change as the rooms were quite spacious and the bathrooms had been renovated and were large also (unlike the majority of hotels we've stayed at in Europe). The bus stop to go to Florence is only a couple of hundred metres away and was efficient and easy to use. We were give heaps of advice about what to see in Florence and the surrounding countryside by helpful staff. The restaurant was also terrific and after a long day it was great to only have to go upstairs to get a great meal. It's a bit tricky to find the front entrance as it's just tucked around the corner of a side street. I would have no hesistation in recommending this hotel to family and friends.

What a wonderful time we had at the hotel! This is a real "find" - sitting behind the main square of this neat Tuscany town, yet only 40 minutes by bus from downtown Florence, the Bellavista Impruneta is like a visit with old friends. The multi-generation family that owns and runs the hotel and restaurant were genuinely motiviated to make our stay as comfortable and productive as possible - they went well beyond standard hotel service, and were great resources for planning our visit to the region. The restaurant was terrific (food and views from the terrace) and the aroma of food mixed well with the flowering trees and plants in the area. Other dining possiblities are available nearby (great suggestions available from the hotel folks). Bus service to and from Florence was prompt and frequent (though the last bus back to Impruneta was at about 8:30PM), making a stay in the country a great alternative to the crowded and noisy downtown hotels.

We were delighted with the Bellavista Impruneta, it really justifies its good reviews. The family owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our room and the hotel as a whole were of a high standard and charming. The room rate was good value. We liked the hotel so much that we decided to return from Florence to eat in the evening. A first class meal, though it turned out to be rather costlier than we'd expected.

Given that we arrived very late (and hungry) after our inbound flight was diverted to an airport 3 hours + away. The staff could not have been more helpful. A totally enjoyable stay at a family owned & operated hotel (four generations). The recently remodeled rooms were excellent. The family made us feel like their guests in their dining room. The experience will be even better when the town completes the reconstruction on the square.
