We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Villas. We have 2 children (11,14) and our suite was perfect with a separate bedroom. We arrived late and our kids were starving, and Mihali ordered takeout souvlakia/fries for us and had it delivered to our room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. (always leftover fruit to keep for later). The view was amazing and it was so quiet and peaceful in the mornings. The pool was clean and so refreshing in the hot afternoons. Our flight out wasn't till 7pm and Andreas let us store our bags and even let the kids use the pool all afternoon. Exceptional service. Only suggestion is to put some more hooks in the bathrooms for towels. We hope to come back soon.

Our family suite was lovely. We also had a private balcony right outside our front door with a magnificent view of the caldera. It was perfect in every way. Andrias at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

A very pleasant stay although we spent the 2 first nights in a small room but after we were given a large and comfortable one. The staff were very nice and the view on the volcano just amazing and unforgettable. The only weak point is the bus network whose timetable is not reliable at all, so I advise to rent a car!

Fantastic site, beautiful view of the Caldeira, great 1/2 hour walk to Fira. More authentic than Fira. We had a big 6 bed, 3 room troglodite appartment. Pool is small but great to cool off in the summer. Small kitchen was appreciated. No staff before 8h30 and very sleepy between 8h30 and 9h (We arrived on an early flight at 7h, waited enjoying the view.). Cute. Very good ratio quality/price. Don't expect 5* standard however. We highly recommend this hotel. We were on familyholiday with four girls.

My husband and I were traveling together, just the two of us. The views were absolutely breathtaking! Although it was a bit of a hike to get to, we loved the room and location once we arrived (pack light, if possible :) We had a full ocean view. The only small complaint about the room would be the small shower size, but that is typical in most places in Europe. I would definitely stay again! On a side note, regarding Santorini, I would recommend flying. We took the ferry and it was delayed several hours which cut into our time on the beautiful island. Internet didn't work for our computer, but they let us use the one in the front office. The owner was a very nice man.

I stayed in a standard room; spacious, good view, although the superior rooms have better view to the sea, and more privacy (recommended if you can afford the price). price does not include breakfast; however, you have kitchnette and utensils to have your own breakfast at the terrace of your room (it's good to buy the santorinian groceries from any market and enjoy it for breakfast). location is a bit far fira town (25mnts walking); however, it is a better view and it won't be aproblem if you rent a scooter. overall, I would defenitely recommend the stay.

This hotel has excellent view. we also recommend the restaurant on the street outside the hotel (up the little slope), which is better and cheaper than those in Fira. The owner of the hotel is very competence, waking up at 2 am to help us with the power shortage, which is a common problem in Santorinin in summer.

We stayed for one week in September and really enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful and the staff were excellent. Would definitely recommend it. However, I wouldn't bring kids or really old people here because there are lots of steps which are quite steep.

Wonderful view over the caldera and the volcano, fantastic location for sunsets on the private terrace of every room. Nice and spacious rooms with eclectic style furniture. Just two small disappointing points: not all the rooms are provided with cooking facilities (mine had only tea/coffee facilities and a washing bin, but no fires)so you should ask for, and the need to turn off the heather for hot shower 20 minutes before. Our room was n°111, very recommended because with huge terrace and far from the public path. Last tip: you have to climb and go down over many steps to reach the hotel and along the narrow paths of Imerovigli, so it's recommended to healthy people.

Fantastically friendly staff Warmly welcomed and every assistance offered Great information about the hotel, facilities and environs given on check-in Timmie the barman was especially helpful - letting us use his laptop to transfer images off our camera and video memory cards to flash drives. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Cam

We came to Santorini for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. The staff at Sunny Villas were excellent, very welcoming and accomodating. There was a mix up with our shuttle that we had arranged for our arrival at the port, it never arrived, but we found our way to the hotel and upon our arrival were given an upgrade for the first night. Rooms are spotless, beds are firm but okay, and the view from the private terraces and pool area is amazing! Wish breakfast was included (double check, some guests said theirs was) but with the kitchenette it was easy to stock up on our own breakfast things.

Sunny Villas was everything I hoped for; the unit was well equipped and the views of the caldera from the balcony were magnificent. The hotel is well situated and only an hour's walk along the path to Fira. Our unit was two levels above reception but only twenty steps to the top of the cliff where an excellent supermarket was situated. Andreas at reception was particularly helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. The only downside was that we arrived late at night and, as the taxi driver only gave me vague idea where to find the hotel, I had great difficulty in finding reception in the dark, particularly having to walk down many flights of steps. I do recommend that the signs leading to Sunny Villas be made more visible. However, I have no hesitation in Recommending Sunny Villas to anyone wanting a cliff-side villa in Santorini.

The staff at Sunny Villas was warm and welcoming. The location can't be beat with gorgeous views of the caldera and sunsets. An easy (although somewhat long in the heat) walk to Fira. Would definitely recommend having a car or other form of transportation for exploring the island. I would probably recommend getting a different room as ours was small with a tiny bathroom (standard studio) and right next to a restaurant that tended to be noisy in the mornings. LOTS of stairs so I wouldn't recommend for older people or those not in good shape.

You are incoherent between check in time and check out time : how an hotel can ask its guests to check in at 11.30 if check out is later eg 12.30 : when do they have time to clean the rooms ? Please correct this in your information.

We had an upper level room. The bathroom was very small. Room was smaller than expected. We stayed two nights, if we had stayed longer the size of room and bath would have been an issue. Overall, very pleased and would definitely go back...this was our 4 stay at Sunny Villas. Assistance at check in was fabulous. We had assistance lugging our bags to the room.

Dont arrive early in the morning as no one is up until about 9.30am. Tha area is smsall around the pool so not very social. Our rooms and deck and views were amazing except for the bathrooms which were very tiny with terrible showers and they had an unpleasant smell in them probably due to lack of ventilation. They are like living in a cave. This is not for the faint hearted as it is not easy to reach and has a lot of stairs!!It is also a reasonable distance to town. We hired a car for the 4 days and this was a very good thing. Very easy place to drive around.

Sunny Villas is a beautiful place. We stayed in a family room, which is almost a little apartment. The view from the private balcony was wonderful. I would not recommend this property to elderly people or to any one with physical limitations, as you have to go up and down many steps even to go to the pool area. Imerovigli seems to me a better option than Fira, which was extremely crowded. If you don't have a car, the bus stop is really close to the hotel.

The room was much smaller than we were led to believe by the web site and poorly lit and appointed, and the bathroom was basic to say the least. While friendly, the staff were less than competent (we rarely received the breakfast we orderered!) On checking out we were presented with a bill for the bar despite paying for it in cash and a bill for breakfast despite the rate including B&B. The pool bar is extremely poorly stocked and much of the food on the menu was unavailable.

I stayed for 10 days in this hotel. Its location is really the best of the island in terms of position (highest point to see caldera and breathtaking sunsets) quietness and romanticism. I was used to drink with my girlfriend white wine and have light dinner on balcony of our superior room at every dusk. Fira downtown noise and nightlife is 1/2km down the hill. It is a bit tricky to find the hotel due to the fact the way is full of huge steps (you must be quite execised in going up and down on big steps). On arrival by bus shuttle I had some problem to find the hotel wit my heavy bags. Fortunately staff was very helpful and friendly when they found me lost on the way. They also helped me to find alternative car when I had problems with my car-rent booking. Staff was very friendly and active. Swimming pool is quite small but terraces view super. I think I will come back here next time I will be in Santorini.

Sunny Villas and Santorini were better than advertised. The island is glorious and Sunny Villas is a primo spot. Andreas, Michael, Alby, and Tim were all superior in their attentiveness. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would recommend both Sunny Villas and Santorini to anyone looking for some high quality R & R! Our terrace was a terrific place to view sunsets, eat breakfast, and just read and relax. We always felt that we were in 'the spot' every time we looked around us. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

A very nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and decorated tastefully. The pool area is fun place to relax with an excellent view. Imerovigli is nice to stay...quieter than Fira. It is about a 20 to 25 minute walk to Fira.
