Our host Andro met us near the Port and drove us with our luggage to Apartment Komazin, welcomed us with a drink and oriented us. The apartment is new, clean with stunning views of the Adriactic from the terrace. About a 10 minute walk gets you to a beach, another 5 min. and you're in Hvar town & all the sights. We swam every day, wandered into town, enjoyed great seafood and then happy to return to tranquil Apartment Komazin. The family made us feel so welcome and yes, the apple strudel is delicious.

Andro and his family are incredibly helpful and welcoming. It is worth the walk from the center of town. Although the popular beaches are on the other side of town, you can jump into the water anywhere and the beaches are gorgeous all along the coast. Hvar is worth every penny!

We had read some really good reviews on tripadvisor, but were still pleasantly suprised. Kitchen and bedroom, two balconies (one with ocean view) and an extremely service-minded host who picked us up at the bus station. The only problem was that we couldn't find a proper map of Hvar town so we were kind of puzzled on how we would find the place. An hour after we booked the host sent a text message to say he was picking us up, and when we got there we had the beach ten minutes walking distance one way and town square ten minutes the other way. All in all, great!

Nice, cleen, roomy flat and good service in walking distance from the old town senter and beaches. Sounds from nabour apartment and local traffic may sometimes be disturbing

How to reach Komazin Hotel
By carArriving in Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik airport you will have to take the bus to get to the port of Split where you can take a catamaran or ferry to get to the island of Hvar.
Catamaran is easiest way and it will take you 1 hour to get in the town of Hvar,if you have to take the ferry you will have to go to town of Stari grad 20 km away from Hvar town and than get on the bus.Bus station and the harbor are 900 m from the apartments . Also for the guests arriving from Dubrovnik there is ferry line from Dubrovnik( on Sundays and Thursdays at 10 am.) To Stari grad about 7 and 1/2 hours...,bus to Hvar town.
At your arrival in the Hvar port when you get off at your left hand side up on the hill is the fortress just go towards and you will end up on the main square ,turn right and go towards the main church(cathedral) some 50 m behind is the bus station where we will pick you up at your call(+385 91 6019712)
