Excellent hotel despite its decentralized location in a quiet neighbourhood with great view upon Hong kong island. But the hotel shuttle every 1/2 hour to central Kowloon takes 8 minutes and is most convenient.

My girl friend and I stayed at the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong for our first Valintine's Day. We enjoyed the pool on the top of the building. Also, the view was absolutely beautiful, even the weather is a not so great. Unfortunately, the pool and the gym closed a bit too early.

We stayed at the Harbour Plaza for four nights to attend a wedding at The Peninsula. On arrival we were upgraded to a room on the club floors with a superb view over the harbour to Hong Kong Island. The hotel facilities are excellent, particularly the spectacular roof top pool, and although the hotel is slightly out of the way, the free shuttle services to Hun Hom station and The Peninsula and to Kowloon MTR make it very easy to get around Kowloon and the nearby Star Ferry terminal is extremely handy and by far the most impressive way to get to the island. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

This is a very Ritzy hotel. My room was a suite... very large, very clean, very modern, very comfortable, very quiet. The hotel was expensive for China (was a Golden Week and hard to find rooms), so I'd rate it as luxurious rather than a great value. There is a beautiful view of the water from the promenade just behind the hotel. The hotel is one block from a very lively shopping and restaurant area. Internet was quite expensive... should be included at the room price. This is definitely a hotel catering to foreign visitors.
