The Hotel is big and elegant. It offers a free shuttle bus to the city center (Times Square)and The Central Station. As for the City center don't worry about the service too much: it is only five minutes'walk. The only problem could be the heat and humidity which are unbearable in the middle of the day. While the shuttle bus drivers are not very kind, the hotel staff is helpful and always ready to meet your needs. Don't bother, however, to buy the organised tours offered at a desk in the hotel room: Public transport works very well, since you can take the underground from times square and go wherever you want. As for the popular Ocean Park you can get a bus just opposite the hotel lobby and they are even air conditioned: don't forget to handle the exact fare because they give no change. It is very cheap anyway. My standard room which was on the 22nd floor had a spectacular view on the racecourse and skyline even if on the right corner you could see the cemetery which was fine, too. It was clean and comfortable but a bit small. To be honest I have also to underline that the walls are quite thin so you may hear the noise from outside, lovemaking included which did not disturb me particularly but I can understand that your point of view on this topic could be different; the hotel is full of tourists so noise is a matter of fact in this hotel. Finally if you want to reach this hotel from the airport, take the airport express train to central and the the free shuttle bus or a taxi to the hotel which are very easy to find at Central. On the way back to the airport you can even check in at Central train station avoiding the long queues at the airport and taking the express train without carrying heavy baggage: What a great service!!!!

The worst hotel I ever stayed.door to door to the cemetery, lifts terrible slow, breakfast ... line up for 20 minutes to be seated, travel to city a nightmare. Bus takes 45 minutes, taxis not available. Checked out after one night

Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, free wireless internet in the lobby, nice gym. Some remarks: expensive restaurant, poor sound insulation between room and corridors, room window was not transparent, so there was no view (available for extra price), staff could not advise on bus routes - many buses seen.

The overall quality is good. However, on arrival the reception desk offered an upgrade that's not worthy, better to stay on the internet fare and pay the extra charges for internet.

We had an excellent stay, but the only reservation we have,is that the room had no view,as the windows were opaque, covered by some frosted glass effect covering. We worked out, that there was an extensive cemetary on that side of the hotel. The hotel is ideal for travelers on a budget and we can recommend the breakfast buffet no matter what country you are from. The hotel is in an excellent area, with the racecourse just over the road and plenty of shops and stores nearby. The MTR system is amazingly efficient and the hotel offers a shuttle bus to the nearest station, although we preferred to take the short walk and enjoy the ambience of the crowds as we walked through the streets and local market.

For serious, experimented travellers, this is the right hotel for you! Exceptionally well located, fantastically well managed, with staff greatly trained and kind, this place will make you feel special. The hotel offers free shuttle to major touristic points at each 10, 15 minutes. Breakfast is fantastic, beds and pillows are a bonus for the fiirm anatomical matress, furishing a very well decorated room with all facilities a traveller miht want. This is your best bet!

THe hotel staff was lazy and inept. They did not change towels even after I had left dirty towels on the floor. THey picked up the dirty towels from the floor and replaced them on the racks. The welcoming staff has very poor communication skills and are always trying to upsell better view rooms and breakfast and internet packages. Most rooms have opaque blocked windows as the hotel faces a HUGE chinese cemetery. This is a very poorly managed property.

I was in Hong Kong for a long wknd in March 2009 and I chose this hotel for its location and amenities. It definitely did NOT disappoint! Transport to and from the airport went very smoothly, I was greeted very warmly upon my arrival, the room was comfortable and cozy (which is notable, being a tall woman), the breakfast buffet was FABULOUS, and everyone was helpful! The only slightly negative thing was that the MTR wasn't where I thought it was in relation to the hotel (which could have primarily been a function of my own lack of familiarity with Hong Kong, seeing as this was my first visit). However, I was able to overcome that once I got my bearings. Plus, the hotel shuttle was very convenient and the area was pretty safe! This hotel was a very classy place and I would definitely stay there again!!

Nice hotel in a decent location, although it's not too close to MTR subway (15+ min walk to nearest station), but the hotel provides a frequent day long shuttle to various strategic points in the city (incl. MTR station). Room is small but adquate in local standards. Furniture and bedding is good, bathroom sink area is small, shower area also small. Overall service is good. Lobby staff is helpful and fluent in English. Breakfast is good. Not bad for the price paid. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is vast and tasty, the little outdoor seating area is refreshing in the afternoon, and the commissionaires near the shuttle bus are fabulous - they can get you anywhere you want to go. Sogo is an interesting alternative to the huge shopping malls - like an enormous department store, their range of shoes is especially fabulous! The view from the top of Victoria is amazing - all of Hong Kong spread out before you - but is rather spoiled by the shopping centre plonked all over! But take a taxi from the peak back to the hotel, and you will see views on the OTHER side that will simply take your breath away!
