The Pension Waldkrieber is run by Family Allen, Bill and Kay from Britain. It is a 12 room Pension, with large car park and is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and forest. It is 3 minutes walk from the Presseggersee a well known lake and Erlebnis Family Adventure Park.The Pension offers comfortable rooms with TV, balconies and stunning views. We also have a sauna, solarium. There is a TV lounge, breakfast/restaurant lounge with bar for guests. The Pension is set in beautiful grounds with sun terrace (lit in the evening) and barbeque area (bbq available on request in summer months) ideal for relaxing.

Breakfast at Hotel Waldkrieber

We spoil you with a sumptuous continental buffet breakfast (7:30 - 9.30), including cereals, yogurts, dried fruits, a cold meat & cheese platter, oven baked bread rolls and toast, black bread, eggs, fruit juices, teas & coffees. Half Board evening meal (18:30 - 20:00) consists of, soup of the day, a main course and a dessert. Vegetarians can be catered for when advised at time of booking. Please advise if required, as it may not be possible to book dinner on arrival.

Room Details

All rooms are bright and comfortable, most rooms have balconies with a view of the mountians and/or lake. All have TV, with WC and shower, en-suite.
Cost of triple room is for 2 adults + 1 child. 3 adults is priced at 90€

How to reach Waldkrieber Hotel

By car
From Klagenfurt airport, on the A2, in the direction of Villach. Keep following the A2, towards Udine. Take the exit for Hermagor (B111). After about 10 minutes you will come to Saint Paul, and then Saint Stefan, 5 minutes after Saint Stefan continue towards Hermagor. Turn right immediately after the wooden pedestrian bridge into Schluga camping site, then take the lane immediately on the left. The Waldkrieber is about 1 km on the right.
If the travelling from the west B111 follows. The Waldkrieber is 5 km from Hermagor.


By train
The train stops only 2 minutes walk from the Pension, at Pressegger See.

By airplane
(Allow about an hour to get to the Pension Waldkrieber). From Klagenfurt airport, take the A2, in the direction of Villach. Then keep following the A2 towards Udine.
