Interesting surrounding with special style wooden houses and lush gardens. Dinner at the hotel was nice. Woken in the middle of the night by another guest that had gotten the wrong key at the reception. The door chain turned out to be a joke.

The room was very hot, because climatisation was going to be installed. Otherwise everything was ok. Very friendly staff. Proposal: Indicate on the website where to leave the bus in Käpylä, when coming from the airport, and take tram no 1 which runs directly to the hotel. So you save the way to go downtown and back.

How to reach Park Hotel Käpylä
By car
From Porvoo and Lahti: take the motorway (E-18 and E-75) to Käpylä, exit to the right and proceed along Koskelantie for approx. 1 km/0.6 miles, until you reach the first traffic lights. Turn right at Käpyläntie, continue straight ahead for 200 metres/0.1 miles, then turn left onto Kullervonkatu. Proceed for 300 metres/0.2 miles until you reach the roundabout. The hotel is at the corner of Kullervonkatu and Pohjolankatu.
From Tampere and Hämeenlinna: take E-12 highway to Haaga and Maaliikennekeskus. Exit to the left, proceed uphill and then straight ahead all the way to Panuntie. At the traffic lights, turn right and continue straight for 500 metres/0.3 miles. The hotel is at the corner of Kullefvonkatu and Pohjolankatu, right next to the roundabout.
From Helsinki city center: from the railway station, go in the direction of the airport along Kaisaniemenkatu. Continue along Hameentie, then turn left onto Makelankatu (direction airport). Go all the way along Makelankatu to the very end. Just before the motorway to the airport begins, turn right onto Pohjolankatu. Go straight ahead until you reach the roundabout; the hotel will be on your left.
