People make all the difference and the hotel is characterised by warm friendly staff who have a wealth of relevant local knowledge which they readily impart. eg. self guided walking tours of Helsinki, and how to get Opera tickets same day. Staff also coped superbly with a local power blackout which resulted in a memorable candlelight breakfast. We wondered whether all staff were family members (they are not) because that is the atmosphere imparted. The all day tea/coffee and cookie facility (gratis) was most welcome when returning from our walks and tours.

An excellent hotel, with helpful staff. The breakfasts were really good and although there was a constant flow of people in the dining room, the staff constantly replaced he food and drink consumed. The room was comfortable, well supplied with good quality towels and bed linen. Nothing negative to say.
