My room was very comfortable lot and it was very quiet. It was also a short walk to the main shopping street of Helsinki with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The hotel had lots of character. Staff were always very friendly and knowledgeable. For sure, I would return to the GLO Hotel Art on my next trip to Helsinki.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was very well designed and comfortable. There was no sit down bard and the restaurant was not open. The photo that most caught my eye and reason I booked was a large, beautiful, lit fireplace which I did not see while there. Area is a close to city center for walking.

We made arrangements to stay here 2 nights then 1 night in Estonia then back here for another night. So for the 2 nights, we were given a tiny room (looks like they passed a single room as a double) and they wanted us to pay to get a bigger room as we were told "your suitcases wouldn't even fit in the room". The third night, we were "upgraded" to a normal double room. In all honesty, the design/decor of this hotel is nice. What we didn't like is primarily the location (SO FAR from everything) followed by the tiny room we were given the first 2 nights. BEWARE!

1) The location is bad; sooo far away from everything. 2) They incessantly try and sell you everything. Sooo annoying! 3) The room was so small and that was not the agreed upon size!
