Breakfast at Helka

A buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant from 6.30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays, and from 7.30 a.m. until 10.30 a.m. on Sundays.

The buffet includes Edam, smoked and cottage cheese, ham, liver paste, a selection of charcuterie, tuna, herring, tomato, cucumber, American salad, crated carrots, peppers, pickled cucumber, scrambled and boiled eggs, porridge, muesli, dried fruit, corn and bran flakes, bread rolls, rice cakes, rye bread, helka bread, butter, lactose-free margarine, berry and fruit salad, Finnish lingonberry pie, biscuits, natural yoghurt, lactose-free milk, full and skimmed milk. How to reach Hotel Helka

By airplane
Helsinki Vantaa Airport: take the bus nos. 415, 451, 615 to the city centre or the Finnair City Bus to downtown Helsinki. All buses arrive at Helsinki Central Railway Station which is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel or a short metro ride from Helsinki Central Station to Kamppi Metro Station, which is only 200 metres/216 yards from the hotel. If you rent a car at the airport, then follow the signs to Helsinki City Center (Keskusta) until you are on road 45 (Tuusulan väylä). Drive for approx. 12.5 km/7.7 miles and take a right turn into Sturenkatu Street, when then turns into Helsinginkatu Street. Take a left turn after the Finnish National Opera into Mannerheimintie Street. Take a right turn after the Houses of Parliament into Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu Street and the Hotel Helka will be on your right-hand side.

By ferry
From Helsinki West Harbour (LÄNSISATAMA): take Hietasaarenkuja Street, then Tullaajankuja Street, Mechelininkatu Street, Rautatiekatu Street and Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu Street, where the hotel is located. Alternatively, take bus no. 15A from West Terminal to the Fredrikinkatu bus stop.
From Helsinki South Harbour (ETELÄSATAMA): take tram 3T from Olymiaterminal to Arkadiankatu Street's Kauppakorkeakoulut tram stop. Walk south along Runeberginkatu Street. Take tram 4 from the Katajanokan terminaali to Mannerheiminkatu Street's Lasipalatsi tram stop. walk east along Arkadiankatu Street and arrive at Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu Street.
