I was looking for a quiet, reasonable, conveniently located, family-run style hotel including a traditional (cold) breakfast buffet, and the Hotel Regina matched this perfectly. Exactly what you would expect of a small German hotel, just steps away from the shopping district and with convenient connections to the main station. Note for WiFi users: 24 hours of non-continuous service was a reasonable 5 euros (an hourly rate is also available), which was plenty to cover a three-day stay. Note however that connection speeds and reliability are not especially high, and due to a rather intrusive authentication scheme, the use of two devices simultaneously (such as a laptop and an iPad) is impossible.
