The hotel is located in the main square of the town, everything can be reached with a short walk. I had to wait some time for someone to do th check-in but the personnel is nice. Quite good breakfast. Very good value for the price paid.

Excellent hotel for families with interest in cultural aspects of Heidelberg. The hotel is in the very center of old Heidelberg. There is no luxury (no minibars, a small tv with German channels only, etc.), but rooms, including bathrooms, are clean.

I visited the hotel prior to my stay to see what the room looked like. When I arrived for my stay, the room was better than the one they showed me. It had a view of the castle and hillside out one side and the bustling square, river and opposite hillside on the other. Family run and very friendly.
