Viet Hotel - Hanoi

This hotel is located in the center of the old quater , that is a good place to stay if you go to Hanoi for both doing bussiness and travelling . Staff on reception at night was wonderful , usefull and rooms were clean and comfortable. Much more than I expected and they have a free buffet breakfast in a nice restaurant, where you can oder Lunch and Dinner also. Especially in that hotel they also have a travel agency in the lobby and I found that their tour is more cheaper and better than the other Travel Agency that I found. It was perfect for our needs. Will definitely stay again. Was not expecting much for price but it was so much more..

Good choice for Staying in Hanoi .

I have just returned from an one day stay at the Viet Hotel. It would be hard to express just how perfect this experience was.They provided complimentary welcome drink when i arrived , It was great.Our room was a Luxury Single which was beautiful and spacious with a large and beautiful bathroom. The best part however is the service.Specially Viet Hotel is located in Hang Than street in The Old Quater). Let me take a chance to give my big thank to Viet Hotel's Staft, I will come back to stay in your hotel again ...

Viet hotel was lovely! I arrived early about 10am and was delighted to get the room then. Lovely style hotel, small rooms but you can't beat the location. It's situated in the old quarter of Hanoi city The only negative thing was early moring noise from a nearby school and vehicle horn from the main street when I opened the window for fresh air (but it's quite if the window is closed). Do not stay there if you don't love children and their screamings Smiley welcoming staff, made you feel like home from the moment you check in. After all, I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who's going to Hanoi.

We had a great stay at the Viet Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotless.The hotel embraced our group, made us feel that we were at home, and took care of our requests and needs with graciousness and efficiency. We enjoyed our wonderful fresh and plentiful breakfast in the lovely restaurant with a few of the city, and did have several delicious meals there.What a excellent Hotel- Viet Hotel.

Staff were extremly friendly, room was in need of new paint and general maintenance, breakfast was excellent, overall was ok for one night stay!

Excellent staff. Good location. Fair enough price. Lousy breakfast (but many choices around anyway). Big, big problem at Viet Hotel is unthinkable noise. All of the rooms on the hotel's back side face an elementary school and naturally, it is loud beginning at 0700. This is a Big Problem. The noise problem didn't stop there. Every morning, beginning at 0600, the VN government broadcasts "news" over bullhorn speakers throughout the neighborhood where the Viet Hotel is located (I think this is done in MANY, but not all, neighborhoods in Hanoi). Although it is a newly renovated hotel is a nice old building, the rooms' chairs had big stains on them as did the newly painted walls of the two rooms I stayed in. The only rooms and, I Say Again, the only rooms where the noise problem from elementary school is minimal is rooms ending in '01' e.g. 301,401, 501. Again, friendly, helpful, find staff and the manager is a winner too. The noise issue defeated my love of this well-situated hotel.
