Joy Journey Hotel - Hanoi

This is very good hotel and good location. Stay here for 2nights in quite room, clean and spacious. New renovation hotel with all good facilities. Happy to stay here, Definately come back. Highly recommend!

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight. the supposed 24 hour reception was sleeping and had pulled down the iron curtain. After several attempts we gained access and the receptionist refused to help up carry our luggage to the third floor (no lift). He did not neglect however to try and sell us an overpriced airport transfer. The room was in shambles: moldy ceiling, dirty bathtub, damp smell. The door has a glass pane meaning that you have light coming through all night long. Breaksfast was essentially non existent and served on a table in the "lobby" which really is a travel agency. Advertise internet service was not available as the two computers were, in fact used by the children of the owner who were playing games. We essentially got kicked out of the room by housekeeping who barged into the room despite the do not disturb sign to hand us questionable linen. Overall the worst experience I've had over 5 countries in South East Asia

Good place to stay in Hanoi(spacious rooms, comfortable beds) when coming to discover all beauties this city has to offer to visitors. Hoan Kiem Lake can be reached in 5 minutes by walking.the staffs are very supportive and kind, always ready to provide all information the guest may need. Thao, a very smiling lady is also a nice presence there. Overall,a good accomodation to stay in Hanoi as a starting point for visiting this acient city thousand year!

Exccellent Hotel which actually gives you clean sheets and a new towel everday. Room is quite, and spacious. Staff are really helpful and competance in english, they ornagize pick up from airport and book the tour to ha Long Bay, Sapa & ticket to the South with satisfaction. Lacation also very good for you walk around and shopping, it really really in the centre. Highly higly recommended.

Good value and right in the center of town.

Great location and value for staying at this hotel. Room is clean and quite. The staff are all very young but very friendly and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel. Stayed here for four nights. Good location in the city. Room was pretty simple and oddly surrounded by drapes on all four walls. We were also on the third floor which becomes a tiresome walk without an elevator. The guys who run the place were pretty friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nothing special (bread, toast, egg and tea), but wad adequate.

The location and staff were fine. Rooms were so small and dirty. The sheet, bed and toilet were terrible and crazy smelt. I think here must be a small guset house only- not even 1 star hotel. Never book this hotel at any price.

First time visit Hanoi, stayed at Joy hotel with lovely time there. Staff so lovely and kind-hearted to assist me to book the trip to Halong bay that made me satisfy with the quanlity. Hotel'slocation is perfect for walking in Old's Quarter.

I booked this hotel for 01night stay, but when i be there i stayed two more nights extra. The staffs are very friendly and helfull, room is clean and comfortable. I asked them help me orgonize the trip to Halong Bay, it was very nice and satisfaction. I hightly recommend this hotel to everyone, valueable for stay!
