Indochina Gold Hotel - Hanoi

The staff here are incredibly friendly, location is great in a nice quiet street, rooms really clean and well maintained, breakfast options good and food tasty - everything was brilliant - just don't order room service - we didn't heed the warnings about room service generally in Vietnam, and thus the late night supper gave us 24 hours of regrets.

i love this hotel so much. Indochina is the best hotel in Vietnam that we have stayed. good room, good price, and good staffs.

This hotel is simply excellent. It has a free tea, coffe 24/24. it has excellent staff,ideal location, spacious rooms,super comfortable bed, great free wired and wireless internet. The hotel provides excellent value for money with the trip to Halong bay, Sapa...

The room was small but nice amenities needed.It's on 5th floor has big window toward the street. The staff made me enjoyable with my stay. They were very helpful and welcomed. Free tea and coffee in lobby. The hotel near the most things to visit in Hanoi. Only get the map and ask the staff. I recommend for all to stay.

Our room on the 5th floor has no elevator but It very nice. The room has balcony look like small garden for smoking and drinking coffee or tea. Room amenities are OK. Kindly staffs. I did not have any problem there. I recommend for all guest.

My room was small but lovely, clean and quiet. Nice location. We had Halong bay 2 days 1 night trips what booked by them. We paid 120 per person but we got more than that. Great time in Halong bay and we was very happy there. Many thanks

The Indochina 1 was a perfect place to stay in Hanoi. Its location in a smaller and quieter street near the cathedral is ideal. The staff is extremely friendly and gave us all the info and services we needed. great place to stay in hanoi!

We stayed 3 days in Hanoi for our honey moon and hoped to the best memories. I booked deluxe room there. It's space, clean and exactly with the detail on internet. Every days in my room has flower and greeting card. There staffs were wonderful. They helped and shown every necessary information with smile and warming heart. Before we going out, the reception gave us the map and hotel card in case we got lost before. We was happy here. Some time, I asked them about number of available rooms here. It's not too surprise, the rooms are full usually. Thanks Indochina hotel for offering us very nice memories in Hanoi. You are the best. I'll come back for sure and recommend this hotel for all.

Compare with another hotels we have stayed, Indochina hotel is the best. The room here was nice, modern architecture, fully facilities,. We slept very well with our bed. The buffet breakfast brought more options and It's included in room rate. Here, We could choose Vietnamese food or Western. Free coffee and tea. I recommend this hotel for all traveler to stay. After I come back to my country, I'll tell this with my friends.

Indochina hotel is the best hotel in Vietnam I have stayed. The room here was spacious with suitable perfume. I slept very good with the bed here. My room on 5th floor. It had windows, we could breath taking and see the sunrise in the morning. The staff here was great, they understood our requirement and made us satisfied here. That's great value for money. I'll tell that for my friends and recommend for all guest to stay here.

The room was Larger than I think with the room typer I have booked. Almost facilities in the room as : TV with so many chanel, showre, bath-tub, hairdryre, minibar.... The staff were helful and enthusiam. When I came down, I can talk with them for long time, make the funny ....Breakfast included in room rate. It was buffet, suitable for all people. Highly recommend for Indochina hotel.All guest can stay here for relaxing and start your travel plan.

We have wonderful time with Indochina hotel. Great value for our money. We booked the room in Indochina hotel for 1 night by venere and 1 night directly when we arrived. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. In room has fully of facilities what we need. But, the most excellent were staffs here. I told them about our plans that: 1 night in Halong bay and 2 nights in Sapa with homestay. The guider (might be customer service) was expert man, they recommend and offer us Hanoi Opera cruise - very good cruise- for Halong bay, go to Sapa in the same day when come back from Halon bay. We go by liviTrain. Overall our trips, everything was wonderful. The food, customer care.... we took so many photos and met some people. After Sapa, we came back to Hanoi and stay 1 more nigh in Indochina hotel before flew to Hochiminh city. I want to talk with every body that, if you come to Hanoi, you should stay in Indochina hotel. Stay for your perfect trips plan.

That's really best choice for hotel in my plan. I booked 1 night with Indochina hotel by Venere. My plan was stay in Hanoi for 2 day to visit Old Quarter and some famous place before go to Halong bay. This hotel was locted in small alley, near the church and Hoan Kiem lake. Room rates are exceptional value for money, It was large, clean and quiet. We stayed in Supperior room with many chanels TV, phone, Wifi for free....Breakfast was nice with Vietnamese and some Western food. I tried twice of them. The sfaffs were helful and always understand the guest. They are expert in hospitality. Hightly recommend for all guest to stay here. Stay here for perfect trip.

Visiting Vietnam for the first time, I stayed at Indochina hotel. The hotel was located in the centre of Hanoi, close to Old Quarter. The staff extremely friendly and helpful, escpecially Mr Peter who was very jolly and gave me much information for my trip. The hotel staff recommend Hanoi Opera cruise for Halong bay trip where I had the most wonderful time in Vietnam. My room was clean and spacious, the bed comfy, wifi available and free. The bathroom was large with good facilities. The breakfast start at 7am, a great buffet that I think it's a lunch. They said that :" With us, more than your expect". I'm not sure with another but for me, It's true. Indochina hotel will be the first place I come when I return Hanoi

This was first time I came to hanoi. Everything were not easy for me. The traffic, 36 streets in Old Quarter, the small seller... But so manything to see, feel and try. I really like Vietnam food. Indochina is good hotel. I booked single room there. The room was large and clean with fully service as bath-tub, hair dryer, fan...It had a windows what I could see something outsite from 4th flor.Very comfortable when I stayed here. The breakfast was nice and include with room rate...Here, you can know all informations about the tours whith the staffs here, they were friendly, helpful and open. Indochina is my highly recommend hotel in Hanoi. Every body comes to Hanoi, you should stay here for your trips.

Next time, when I come back to Vietnam, I will book this hotel and recommend for my friends and another one. I booked this hotel for first time came to Hanoi. My plane were that: stay in Hanoi 1 night, overnight in Halong bay, come back to Hanoi then take the train to Sapa in the same day for 4 night 3 days ( 1 night local homestay in Sapa). After Sapa trekking, I will come back to Hanoi 1 more night for relaxing and shopping before go to the South . When I checked in, they kept my passport to police declaring for 2 minutes. In this time, the staff asked me for plans, introduce some interest place to visit. They gave me local map to go around Old Quarter of Hanoi, the warning when you walking around....every thing for the best time in Hanoi. And I book the Halong bay cruise, Sapa trekking and train ticket with them. We came to the room after that and relax a short moment. When we came down for walk around, they ask me about the room, the feeling...The room was nice, large and clean. In the time we stayed here, coffee and tea were free :) I really like Vietnam coffee. It's strong look like the staff here.Actually, the staffs made me impressive, safe. I trust them.

I arrived to Hanoi in the evening after long fly from Singapore to Vietnam. The first I saw was the staff here. They was friendly and always ready to help any guest. The checkin was fast, only show passport and wait for 1 minute then I came to our room what I have booked. The room was nice also with the windows, I could see to the lake. Next morning, we checked out to go to Halong bay 3 days 2 nights with Paloma cruise (the schedule the staff here recommend me) but when I come back to Hanoi, we will stay in Indochina hotel, not another. I love every body here and recommend to every guest come here to stay when you visit Hanoi. Thank Indochina Hotel.

I have visited Hanoi for 2 times ago but really special when I checkin HanoiIndochina 1 hotel - deal place for traveler. Only 1 house spent for visit almost places of Hanoi Old quarter. I took the cyclo to see around ( It was booked by hotel :D ) The room wes nice. King bed with soft and comfortable. The breakfast was nice also :D I tried Pho again and It was good food. But the most special was staff. They help me everything with enthusiasm and organize Halong bay tour for 1 day. Really good time to take the relaxe. I recommend to the guests come here to stay. They helped me everything this time ( the firt time in Hanoi was not simply because every thing ). They have ideal possition. 2 minutes walking to the Lake, beside the Church and "ding dong" every days. :D The services nice. I recommend to all guest to stay here when visit Hanoi.

We were check in Indochina hotel with other couple also booking from venere.com. Four of us were realy satisfy with hotel room and all services that they provided.Nice room, clean, quite , free internet,buffet breakfast...with briliant staffs. We traveled together to Halong bay. It's wonderfull, amazing sightseeing and very high quality tour.We paid good price if compare with other guests. But anyway , thank to Indochina hotel we've a good time for staying and good memory about Hanoi.

This was the first time i come to Hanoi. It 's realy noisy city with many motobikes.Hanoi old quarter 's amazing ! every where is shopp, cafes, restaurants and very small house arround 2m at front. Our hotel staying was Indochina hotel. It's great location that can reach all famouse places in walking distance. It's room was not so big but very clean, nice decoration. All staffs were helpfull, allways smile.They were so lovely help us to booking Halong bay and Sapa tour with good price and excelient services. We remember that we paid 99$US for Halong bay 2days and 129$ for Sapa 3days while other guest at other office paid 15$ higher to get the same tour. I highly recommend this hotel to every poeple!

There is no evaluator in this hotel and I am stay on 5th floor. Room is quite small but clean.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Great service, great rooms, location, the restaurants were great. I would definitely recommend staying here. Everything from the lobby, to the rooms to the staffs were top of the line.

We had chosed this hotel because We Having read many review from the internet finally settled for INDOCHINA HOTEL , all email were promply reply and all arrangements was well organized from pick up to and from the airport, accommodation, tours booking etc. Choose this Hotel because of its great location, maybe 10 minutes to the Hoan Kiem Lake, the chuch , walking distance to most shopping and restaurant we like this hotel and will come back to Ha Noi and INDOCHINA HOTEL.

The hotel was on a quiet road but in a very good location close to the cathedral and lake. We paid $45 for a very large double with very small windows (no balcony). The prices quoted on their brochure started at $65 for this type of room which is too high. Met another couple who had been to Hanoi many times previously and they beleived the hotel to be very good, so maybe the overall standard of accomodation in Hanoi is not to high?

My husband and I just spent 2 night at the INDOCHINA HOTEL, and we loved it. The staff is professional, competent, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and very well-run. The location is unbeatable, the street quiet and charming. We made our booking directly with the hotel via email; they respond to every email/question/inquiry within 24 hours. Airport pickup went smoothly, for starters. The big hotel and 30 rooms.They are huge, have lots of light, good bathrooms and balconies facing the street. (We caught glimpses of the other rooms, they seem nice as well.) Mr GIANG have booked a 3-day trip to Halong Bay for me through the SOUTH PACIFIC TRAVEL (the day before going there) which was absolutely wonderful. We met another couple on the boat who had booked the identical trip through a travel agency in Hanoi. They paid 15% more.thank you very much.

Vietnam is a spectacular country and one thing that is important to maximize that is have a hotel you can return to comfortably and a staff you can trust. The INDOCHINA HOTEL is that and more- my girlfriend and I stayed with them for 3 nights in july and it was clear the staff was all about making us happy. The room was very attractive and clean. The staff gave us all the tour info without pressure and they were happy to book us a low end tour- which we loved.thank you very much .We will come to see you again,,,,

I made a walk in booking for 3 nights with my friend after seeing the reviewsINDOCHINA HOTEL . The good reviews are well-deserved. I felt at home the second I walked in here. The staff were incredibly helpful. They organised excellent tours, taxi drivers & spoke English well. The rooms were very nice, modern & clean.The windows were glazed making it a quite stay. Breakfast was great; they freshly cooked omelettes, pancakes etc at your order. All in all a very good experience & excellent value for money.We will come back to INDOCHINA HA NOI again.

We have just returned from Vietnam after four weeks fantastic holidays and we started off in Hanoi.We were a bit nerviouse on arival but I think this may just have been to drive from the airport (do they have any road laws) But as soon as we entered we were greated by a young vibrant and helpfull staffs. We booked our accommodation and was so pleased with what we found. The Hotel lived up to everthing it stated. It was very clean large rooms with TV .DVDs.Internet and aircon in all rooms.Daily fruit plates, offering a different choice of fruits everyday, are a really nice touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a good menu selection and really quick service. The staff could not do enough for you and went out of there way to make you feel comfortable, everything is done with a smile. Just wish I could take this hotel with me whenever I travel!

After a grueling week in the northern region of Vietnam, we decided to book 2 nights at Indochina hotel –13 Au Trieu-Hanoi. Upon our arrival, we immediately got the offer to take care of our suitecase. The reception was warm and efficient, They easily helped us to get taxi and provided great directions. It is easy to exchange currency here. a drink was offered to both of us whenever we stayed in lobby. Our request for a late departure was quickly put into the system with a smile. The location of Indochina hotel is excellent. Close enough to all the action yet far enough so that you can have a little bit of peace and quiet when you need it. We were beat so we spent much of the day resting in our room. The Deluxe room was of decent size with the plat TV and workdesk with the computer. This brings the quality of the room. A fruit plate and some water as well as a welcome letter are already on the coffee table before we arrived. The restaurant serves an amazing buffet breakfast that serves traditional Vietnamese, and Western breakfast foods. It was delicious! I recommend this place. It was a luxurious stay!

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, well priced. Great location. One dark point, they say they can get you train tickets but they overcharge (more than double), which makes a terrible impression, it makes it look like they really screw you. It's still worth staying there but buy your tickets yourself, the train station is not far and has a special queue for foreigners.

I usually use INDOCHINA hotel when I stay in Hanoi. I stay Superior room(35USD/night). Frankly speaking the room is not gorgeous, but it is clean and nice with Air-condition, CableTV, fresh fruits and free Internet connectivity. I think that it is extremeIy reasonable for the traveler who want to save money.Every room have computer(free of charge). International buffet Breakfast for every day with fruit, cereal, toast and Asian dishes. And hotel staffs are very kind and friendly. They try to support my stay in Hanoi. They have experiences as a travel agency, too. They can arrange and support our tour. I asked them to get tickets for water puppet show and they got them for me. Everytime I need a taxi from hotel, they call a good taxi company, so far I have no trouble with a taxi driver they call. Hotel is located in the OLD QUATER a stone'sthrow from ST. Joseph's cathedral and very quiet st. And we can find some good restaurants. And it is bit far, but we can walk to the Hoankiem Lake abouth 10 min. If weather is nice, I strongly recommend to walk to that area. As a conclusion, I am very satisfied with INDOCHINA HOTEL and I am pretty sure I will stay this hotel again as far as the room is available. I will recommend to some friends to stay in INDOCHINA HOTEL.

I love Indochina hotel for these reasson: - Location : realy central and the most quite area in Hanoi, we can do Taichi in the morning with Vietnamese poeple. - Room : very clean, cozy, nice equipment with eastern decoration. - Bathroom : not so big but good amenities. - Staffs : friendly , helpful and experience. - Breakfast : Buffet breakfast start from 6.00am to 10.00am, good for late get up. - Service : very good lovely hotel , lovely poeple and good value for the money.

It is the best hotel that we have ever stayed in Vietnam.The location is realy nice and quite,close to everything: banks, bars, coffe shop, restaurants,...The room is very clean with cozy atmostphere. All staffs are friendly and helpful, alot of laugh when you stay here. hight recommend!

The booked twin room was not available. We had to stay one night in a double room without windows (!). We were offered a spacious suite, but would have had to pay a substantial amaount additionally.

No organisation in this hotel. I stayed six days. Breakfast very poor I don't recommend this hotel
