Hanoi Elegance Ruby Hotel - Hanoi

I visited Hanoi with my husband in late January and we stayed in Hanoi Elegance Ruby on the first night of our stay. I am glad that I made a great choice! Although the hotel is small, it provided me with all I needed. We were impressed by the welcome drinks which was two hot ginger tea - it made us feel warm in the freezing weather! Also, the free wifi service as well as the free PC notebook gave me lots of convenience!! And we did appreciate the help offered by the hotel staff! As it was still Chinese new year holiday, the staff helped ring the restaurants to make sure that they had been re-open and then helped us make the reservation. They taught us how to choose reliable taxis and suggested reasonable taxi fares. Elegance Ruby made our trip in Hanoi easy, safety and happy. It's really a nice experience staying in this hotel and I will surely recommend it to my friends who are visiting Hanoi.

We've stayed in 5-star hotels all around the world, but the service in this little place was outstanding. The 5 or so reception staff all had permanent smiles on their faces and literally nothing was too much trouble. The value for money at this place is unbelievable. They even set up a laptop in every room so you can surf the internet in the comfort of your bedroom at your leisure whenever. The location is great for walking around the old town.

Rooms are very small, I am travelling solo, so not an issue, but don't know how it would work if there were 2 people in the room. The rooms are very clean. Nice touches with the rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom basin. Also nice to have a fruit basket available in the room.

Great friendly staff, great location, clean rooms. Would stay again and recommend. The best service received in Vietnam and if it had a pool it would have been the best, even better than 5 star.

The hotel and room were spotless. The service we received from the hotel staff was exceptional. They helped us arrange a Halong Bay cruise with transportation. The trip went smoothly and the cruise was amazing. We also loved the hotel breakfasts. They were included in the room rate. There were plenty of options for kids and grown-ups. Their breakfasts became our most reliable meals while in Ha Noi. Overall, Ha Noi Elegance Ruby was an excellent choice for us. We would stay there again.

Friendly and helpful staff- right in the centre of things and near to all main attractions. We had a twin room on the fourth floor which was fine although the temperature control was difficult - either stifling hot or like a fridge, not great for sleeping. Breakfast was good, like a full buffet on one menu which meant that you practically ordered everything! I'd recommend this hotel for a night or two. If you order a taxi with them to the airport make sure you barter them down- they will start the bidding at $18.

This is my second trip to Hanoi but my first stay at Hanoi Elegance Ruby. We loved it so much. We stayed in about 6 hotels this trip to Vietnam and I felt it was the best of all hotels. I would recommend the Ruby to anyone. The room was superb and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you Ruby staff very much for making our stay so wonderful.

Very good Hotel and good staff

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were genuinely friendly and could not do enough for you. The location is great, right in the heart of the old quarter and easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The hotel is a quiet haven from the noise and heat of Hanoi (which I loved!). The room came with a laptop and free wifi. Plus the breakfasts were fantastic!

Hotel was outstanding in every way - except the room was too short, There was not enough space between the end of the bed and the wall. We also stayed at the Elegance Emerald. This was $15 less a night. The common areas were much less, but the room was more comfortable. In both, the reception staff were outstanding, even for Vietnam where excellent service is the norm.

These guys rock!

This hotel is rated as the best hotel in Hanoi, and I understand why. The service is 5 star, although it is a 3 star hotel. Excellent and absolutely recommended to any traveller that visits Hanoi.

We are on Holiday and were referred to Hanoi Elegance , We could not be happier the staff could not be more helpfull, truly a wonderful stay.

Elegence 4 is right in the heart of the action in the Old Quarter. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hanoi Elegance 4 was the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Vietnam. The Hotel staff was super professional, trying to do everything they could to satisfy us. They even had prepared a honeymoon cake for us and decorated our room romantically. The room itself was super clean, very cute and handy with our own pc with internet in the room. The bathroom was clean and good as well. Breakfast service was great. We loved the breakfast there and especially the very friendly service there as well. Location: in the middle of old town Hanoi, in walking distance to all major sights, in the middle of everything and yet we would not hear anything in the room (as it was in the back). We would definitely stay there again. We also stayed one night in Hanoi Elegance 2 as number 4 was fully booked when we wanted to return after a Halong Bay trip and Hanoi 2 is nearly the same nice hotel, maybe just a bit older (the bathroom) but also super clean, super service, same nice breakfast,great location. We also recommend it.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not exaggerated or played friendlyness but real friendlyness. They helped where they could. Of all hotels I had in Vietnam on this stay, this one was the best.

Can't beat this small but perfectly formed hotel in a fantastic location close to everything in the Old Quarter. The staff are wonderful and speak excellent English. Nothing is too much trouble. We loved our suite and the in room PC is a great facility. Nothing we didn't like. Highly recommended.

I have never been in a hotel with such a friendly accommodating staff, that is so efficiently run and warm and welcoming at the same time. I feel like everyone went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible, answered all my questions. When I came back to the hotel, exhausted from the overnight train from SaPa (at 5:30 AM), they immediately served me coffee and breakfast and did everything possible to have a room ready immediately. My room was ultra modern but in no way tacky and perfectly arranged. The location was excellent- If I return to Hanoi I will definitely book a room at the Elegance 4 and will tell all of my friends to do the same

This hotel is in a great location of Hanoi and is a clean, well run, small boutique hotel. The service was always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel!

Service was excellent. I stayed one night, then left my luggage behind and did an overnight cruise to Halong Bay. After the cruise ended, I returned to the hotel to pick up my luggage. I was very hot and dirty from the long bus ride back to Hanoi, and I was about to get on a plane for a long trip back to the United States. The receptionist at the hotel took one look at me and asked me if I'd like to take a shower. The next thing I knew, I was handed a fresh towel, soap, and shampoo. Now that's what I call service!
