Hanoi Elegance Sapphire Hotel - Hanoi

Small room, that was well organozed, with roomy bathroom. No window to outside, opening onto an interior hall. Excellent and amazingly helpful staff. Surprise was that each room was provided with a laptop computer for use during the stay along with free wifi. Very good breakfast with eggs cooked to order and brought to your table. Well located to visit sights. Walking is difficult in Vietnam as sidewalks are used as parking lots for the cities 3 million motorbikes.

One of the most pleasant accommodations I have been in in the world, with extremely polite and efficient stuff and excellent value for money. Wish there were more like this everywhere :-).

We only stayed one night, but kept returning between trips on 3 other occasions, for each of which we had free luggage storage and showers. They also gave us a free meal for the train. The staff were probably the most helpful and obliging I have ever come across in a hotel.

All characteristics of the hotel were excellent (staff was superb !). The main limitations for us were : a) the location (although central, the old quarter in Hanoi is a mess); b) it seems that the building standard of that area includes having just a tiny (and closed) space in front of the windows (this can be a problem for claustrophobic people). Apart from that, we think that the hotel deserves a four-star classification.

According to various reviews , Elegance 3 is the best Hotel in Hanoi. After having spent 13 nights in this Hotel, I can confirm. Elegance 3 is the best Hotel in Hanoi.

The Hotel is located in the heart of the old quarter ,handy for the shopping. The staff were excellent and friendly. Only problem we had was that they would not book the Halong Bay boat that I had wanted (Pinta Gold) and would only book trips they had (or got commission for). The info they gave on the trip was not very clear..ie no air con on the boat before 7pm..drinks (water) not free. Otherwise a good choice of hotel.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel. The rooms, service, breakfast, and entire experience at the Hanoi Elegance 3 was outstanding. The rooms in the back were very quiet and each had a PC with free internet access. All in all, an outstanding stay.

Excellent hotel! Believe the other great reviews. Centrally located, VERY, VERY clean, plenty of hot water, great in-room internet/computer, loads of breakfast menu options, great staff. Also, no hard-sell on the tours (but excellent service when we asked them to book them for us). To avoid the street noise, ask for a double room on a high floor ending in "02" (402, 502, etc.) You won't get a view but will still have plenty of sunlight and will get a good night's sleep. Also, the airport pickup provided at request by the hotel is only US$1 higher than the "average airport taxi rate" (and a much better option since Hanoi taxi's are never to be trusted - we were ripped off every single time we took one). I think Elegance 2 has a slightly better location but I would happily stay at Elegance 3 again and highly recommend it.

Brilliant service from friendly, helpful efficient staff. Hotel clean and room comfortable.Breakfast scrumptious. I'm recommending this hotel to anyone who asks.

The personnel went out of their way to ensure us a fine visit to Hanoi. They answered all our questions and suggested several good walks, museums, etc. Our room was away from the busy street and very quiet.

The staff was wonderful. Our room was clean, well equiped, and geographically well situated in the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi. It was a great value.
