Hanoi Capital Hotel - Hanoi

I found the hotel perfectly located, the breakfast was ample, and the rooms were spacious and clean(Just New Renovated ). The staff were friendly, and everyone took pride in their work. I would stay there again on my next visit to Hanoi. It was cheap and easy to hire bikes and booking any trip to next city, and the reception desk was always helpful. Strongly Recommend !

I don't want to stay at this hotel any more due to very bad service. Because I couldn't use credit card for payment when checking out. Taxi service to airport was very expensive as 18 US dollar per person even sharing hotel car with other guests and no prior information about such conditions when I made booking.

Deluxe rm. Tony was very helpful with arranging side trip -Halong Bay tour. Just be aware that the junk which was allocated for our overnight stay was not the same as in the brochure. Our rm on 4th fl had very little street noise but could hear the lift opening /closing outside. Water from shower wets the bathrm floor. Had unpleasant taxi ride from airport to hotel. Taxi driver started meter when even tho it was supposed to be fixed price. Just before reaching tollway he demanded another US$7 for toll and stopped. We did not pay, and eventually he continued to drive on but did not pay any toll. We were a bit worried as to where he was going to take us but eventually arrived at hotel where he demanded more money. Where possible, arrange for hotel to organise hotel transfers. Location was about 8-10 mins from lake. Breakfast adequate- arrive early for more choices. There was no pc with internet connection in room.

I had a very good stay at Hanoi Capitol. I was picked up at the airport as previously arranged by e-mail. The driver was there right on time, very friendly and pleasant. I asked for a room at the back of the hotel rather than the street side because it is more quiet. The hotel is on a small side street which makes a difference in a noisy, busy city like Hanoi. The staff was gracious and helpful. There was no safe in my room but i left some valuables at the reception because i trusted them completely. The breakfast was very good with a choice of Vietnamese and western syle food. Lots of fresh fruit and juices. I would definitely stay again if i return to Hanoi.
