This hotel could use some significant physical improvements.Staff who were in charge were very helpful and friendly.There is a family-like atmosphere. This place overall is relaxing and low key. In spite of some dissasitisfaction(inconsistent and inadequate cleaning of our room, no hot water most of the time, no screen doors), overall we were satisfied and would consider returning here.

The hotel was nice enough, but I thought it was very overpriced. I had prove to them that my reservation included breakfast - and it really wasn't worth the trouble in the end. The breakfast was good for the coffee and juice - the rest was rather uninspired. We stayed in a cabin because I had visions of cooking with all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables - that was not to be. The produce on Easter Island is of extremely poor quality, and high prices. I paid $6 US for a brown and wilting head of lettuce. We would have been much better off renting a room only, and having all of our meals out. We didn't see many other guests, or interact with any of them, as there really is no common area and breakfasts are served in the rooms. The roosters start crowing at 4 am and continue all day. The staff was friendly, and Maria Paz was wonderful to us - she has a very 'beun onda' as they say in Chile. However, the hotel just did not have enough positive aspects to justify the price and next time I would choose something closer to the ocean and not necessarily with kitchen facilities, other than a mini fridge to keep the beer cold!

Tea Nui’s hotel rooms are nicely decorated and well furnished to accommodation 1, 2, or 3 guests; each of them has a private bathroom and a private balcony or terrace. For more privacy or a larger group, book one of the 2-person or 4-person cabanas (cabins). These split-level apartments have a bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom on the second floor, plus a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a dining room/living room on the first floor.
