Very small rooms, no complete separated bathroom, not working ventilation on bathroom, very late room service, missing towles after room service

The hotel was absolutely splendid, alas a bit far from the town center. But with public transport close at hand that was no problem. We were very grateful, however, that our room was situated at the back of the hotel far from the street with its roaring traffic! We greatly enjoyed our stay, also thanks to this classy hotel. We shall look for this brand of hotel in other German cities.

It was the first time we stayed at Motel One Hamburg-Altona and it is a very good hotel. Yhe bathroom was a bit tiny, but it was very clean. Employees were very helpfull, the room looked very nice and the breakfast was excellant!

Hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Alles, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt in einer Großstadt benötigt, ist vorhanden; Überflüssiges, wie Kleiderschrank, Minibar und Telefon wurde weggelassen. Beim Duschen und Waschen/Rasieren kommt man sich nicht in die Quere, weil die Waschinsel im Schlafraum untergebracht ist. Weiterer Vorteil: der Spiegel beschlägt nicht. Wenn zwei Menschen sich den Raum teilen, sollten sie sich über ihre Wege absprechen, da der Platz (schmaler Gang um das Bett herum) relativ begrenzt ist. Das Bett ist bequem und mit mehreren festen Kissen zum Anlehnen ausgestattet. Die Matratze ist einigermaßen komfortabel, wenn auch nur eine Spanplatte als Unterlage dient. Insgesamt eine sehr geschmackvolle moderne Einrichtung (inkl. Flachbild-TV mit Aquarium/Kaminfeuer). Frühstück ist ausreichend (gekochte Eier, Brötchen, Croissants, Säfte, Kaffeautomat, Aufschnitt, Müsli, Obstsalat, etc.) und wird in der Lounge eingenommen. Dies ist für ältere Semester gewöhnungsbedürftig, da nur wenige Sitzgelegenheiten an normalen Tischen vorhanden sind, ansonsten Loungesessel und kleine Tische. Das (wenige) Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings scheint das Hotel häufig ausgebucht zu sein; Reservierung ist wohl absolut notwendig! Es scheint auch so, das Zimmerkontingente nicht selbst vom Hotel vergeben werden. Dann hilft z.b. die Buchung über venere.com Wir hatten am Vortag im entsprechenden Hotel in Klein-Machnow (Berlin-Dreilinden) übernachtet. Auch dort ist der gleiche Standard. Wir werden Hotels von Mobile-One für Städtetouren bevorzugen!

They were rebuilding the reception during our stay, but no noise in the rooms. Excellent located for the airport and/or centre of Hamburg (direct bus to the center). Good value for money.

Hotel very nice and modern. Unfortunenatly there are al lot of rooms to the street and it is impossible to open the windows, it's too noisy. Ask for room to the back, then it is very good for that price.

Good value for money, clean hotel with friendly staff.
