Hotel Playas de Guardamar - Guardamar del Segura

The Hotel was excellent, the food was varied and plentiful, all areas of the hotel although tired were spotless. We had fun trying out our Spanish, which I have to say is not very good, but the staff laughed along with us and helped us out. The location was beautiful and quiet, no noisy 'english' bars. The only negative comment I have is that the rooms did not have any sound proofing so when we got neighbours we were disturbed by their talking and their baby crying. A truly Spanish experience, just what we were looking for.

We found the hotel was very well located on the Beach, the food was average quality, and some times not very hot, but there was a micro wave oven avalable. We would certainly go again

Campomar has a very good location on the Guardamar coast, just meters from the attractive beach and a nature reserve. All rooms have a very nice view of the ocean and the coast line. Both the indoor and outdoor common areas are attractive. The large buffet restaurant offers mainly Spanish dishes. There is also a nice bar/cafeteria and a number of shops in the lobby area. The majority of the guests are Spanish, due to the fact that you need a car to reach the hotel (no public transport). My wife and I spent 5 nights at Campomar 1-6 May. During that time the hotel was completely filled up with Spanish families celebrating the Labour day and Mother's day. They really seemed to enjoy their time at Campomar. So did my wife and I. We would recommend the hotel to other non-Spanish guests. But you would need a rented car to move around on the Costa Blanca. In that case you will also have the option of having a few of your meals in local restaurants in the neighbouring towns.

We had a lot of help on our arrival from your Jefe; The stay was very good overall. There should be a lot more disabled parking regulated ,we most days had to drop our disabled partner then find a place to park, more disabled rooms.There was also a lot of children who were very noisy.
