exterior
The early comments on the Villa built at the foot of the Tusculum Hill go back to the beginning of the 17th Century. It was considered one of the most prestigious of the whole area.
Time and human neglect plunged the sixteenth-century Villa in solemn decadence.
With competence and authentic passion, the historical building is finally restored and can be admired by visitors.
Expert gardeners have skilfully redesigned the Italian Garden and the 15.000 sq. Woody park to match the patterns, followed centuries ago by the original architect.
From windows, lounges and terraces, the Villa offers spectacular views.
At sunset, on the horizon, the sea sparkles with the shimmering reflection of the dying sun, and on the other side, Rome becomes alive with twinkling lights.

In one of the rooms, Ciampelli pictured the Villa itself framed in a rustic scene.
The choice of a side prospect enhances the elegance of the form with the two side towers projecting forward from the central body: this picture did certainly strengthen a positive opinion on the architecture of the Villa.

second time in Villa Grazioli hopefully not the last one one weak point (actually two) : the breakfast, becaiuse of the awful cellar location while it could be gorgeously outside, and the ridiculous and loud background music (mozak !), ununderstandable in an hotel of that class category.

Took my wife on our wedding anniversary, and Villa Grazioli was the perfect place. It is a romantic, beautiful building, set in gorgeous gardens, in the hills above Rome. Great views of city. Nearby Frascasti is a great little town, hardly any tourists, so you join in the real Italian life. From Frascati train station, you get get straight into Rome Termini, where you can pick up a bus tour of the city. Perfect place to stay, and very good value for money using Venere

The courtsey transport to and from Frascati station (which is essential for getting to Rome) was OK but if one had not pre-booked then it was sometimes not possible to get transport as there is only one taxi in Frascati!

This villa was absolutely charming and beautiful. We were there in February and can just imagine how beautiful it is in the spring and summer. The views of the surrounding hills and cities were lovely.

This is a luxury hotel but I got a last-minute rate which made it amazing value for money. However, that may be why the staff didn't take much notice of me, as a single traveler in a very small car The hotel is one of the historic Frascati villas, with wonderful frescos in all the public rooms. You feel like a prince wandering round them. Breakfast was lavish in the extreme.

Our room was not at all what was pictured on the website. We were not even in the same building, but a guest house. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The staff was very understanding of our frustration with the room, because we were not the first ones. The staff is friendly and tried to find us a more suitable, (and more expensive room). The hotel's history is fascinating, and the quality of the hotel including the food was excellent. Other than the room not being what I expected, we had a very nice stay.

Rather hard to find at night - better signage would have helped. Breakfast not up to the standard of the hotel

Beautifully situated hotel. Dinner excellent with an attentive chef and a good wine list. A very interesting building in lovely surroundings. Breakfast really good, one of the best seen by us in Italy We will certainly return.

The hotel is fabulous. The staff, particularly Emanuela and Ricardo gave us excellent service. They made us feel so welcomed and were always checking to see if we were ok for everything. The scenery around the hotel is magnificent. It was a truly beautiful place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. We were there for a wedding and it was one of the best weddings I was ever at. Everything was handled brilliantly from the champagne on the lawn reception at sunset to dancing the night away overlooking Rome. Just perfect!

Not all the rooms are in central building. But around 20 rooms are located in near building, just 150 meters far. This is not explained in web details. I think this is not correct.

We were staying at villa grazioli for my brothers wedding. The staff in general were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The receptionist didn't even look at us when when checked in. He just seemed incredibly grumpy! Twice we had to beg for food! The restaurant was fully booked for both lunch and dinner on all days and there was no alternatives given to us. We managed to get some sandwiches from the bar eventually! As we were quite a large group of people without a car, it was difficult to find somewhere else to eat because of the isolated location. Their attitude was that it was not their problem and they seemed quite annoyed that we were even staying there! On our last night we actually asked to receptionist if we had to book a table for dinner, he said no, but when we went down to eat, we were told the restaurant was booked and there was nothing they could do for us! The only saving grace was the fantastic barman who organised dinner eventually for us in another room, but it took a lot of complaining to get this! The fried eggs at breakfast were also stone cold! I must also say that I have stayed in cleaner rooms too. We had small lizards and spiders in our room, not to mention the dust and the cobwebs!! I have had better service staying in a youth hostel and was really surprised at the attitude at some of the staff especially as the villa grazioli is meant to be a 4 star hotel. The building is beautiful but it would not be enough for me to stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone in future. The attitude of some of the staff annoyed quite alot of our party and put a dampner on what was a lovely wedding. This was a great shame.

We loved this hotel, and found it a perfect choice for the last night of our vacation. We stumbled upon it on the venere website when we were looking for a hotel relatively close to Fiumicino, but without having to go into Rome or settle for a generic airport hotel. The public areas are vast and beautiful, even though they haven't been fully restored, and the grounds are lovely. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and it was excellent. The hotel is somewhat difficult to find, but worth it.

We stayed at this hotel prior to an early return flight from Ciampino Airport and we were sorry we hadn't spent our whole holiday there. We will certainly be back.
