Hotel Villa Le Barone is not cheap...but it is worth every europenny! This property oozes with charm. Its location is one-of-a-kind - what views! Food was fantastic (breakfast in a beautiful dining room, dinner alfresco), rooms were spacious and several sitting rooms / common areas stocked with rare books offered additional relaxation options. Pool area: brilliant. This is a very special place.

The Hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the town of Panzano or a 3 minute drive and a half hour or less drive to go anywhere else in Chianti by car....Great Location ! The surrounding area is breathtaking, the views exactly what you would expect of Tuscany. The property is immaculate, beautiful gardens, pool area and lots of open space. We would not hesitate to go back and stay again.

How to reach Hotel Villa Le Barone

By car
From the North on the A1 Milano-Napoli highway, exit at Firenze Certosa. Merge into the junction to Siena and after 22 km exit at San Donato in direction of Castellina. Once in San Donato, follow the direction for Piazza Sicelle. Cross the square and at the first and the second crossroads turn left in direction of Greve. Upon arriving at Panzano take the direction to San Leolino and Villa Le Barone to the right.
From the South on the A1 Milano-Napoli highway, take the Incisa exit and continue toward Figline Valdarno and keep driving in direction of Greve. At the traffic lights in Greve turn left toward Panzano. Upon arriving at Panzano take the direction to Villa Le Barone to the left. Continue straight ahead and turn right at the second crossroad.
