The property, former residence and hospital of the Knights of Malta, is a 13th century castle surrounded by a beautiful park and decorated with antique furniture, 18th century wood-panelling and Aubusson tapestries.

Breakfast was poor: poor service, poor food quality, poor table layup and slow No food Sunday, only local suggestion was pizza from a van. A selection of local resturants would be more helpfull. Good rooms and very good bed

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Charme. Bei näherem Hinsehen wirkt es etwas heruntergekommen und hätte ein paar Renovationseingriffe nötig. Die Preise sind für den Standard an der obersten Grenze. Essen im Hotel: vorzüglich aber auch teuer
