The location is perfect, close to everything. Staff members are kind and competent. My room was reasonably clean and not too small. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. The room window opened on the main Victor Hugo square, but there were double windows and the noise from the street was not too loud. On the contrary the air conditioning was quite noisy and I could clearly hear voices and steps in the rooms above and besides mine. On average the price/quality ratio seems good.

Stayed in Grenoble just for 1 night, but the hotel was really worth the price! The room's nice, the bathroom was really big and clean. We walked everywhere, even from the train station. Definitely recommended!

A quiet hotel, located in the centre of Grenoble, very near tramway and bus stops. The room was not very big, but clean and with a beautiful view over the sqare. The employees at the reception are competent and kind.

A comfortable hotel across from a park. Room was small, but quiet. A little farther from the train station than we expected.

We booked a triple room.Instead of that we received a double room and when we asked for this to be fixed they put another bed in that room instead of giving us another bigger one, making it impossible even to move in it... The price for three nights was extremely high for such a hotel...

Everything about the room was was in good working order and well cleaned. Big plusses are the (almost) free parking nearby and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The only thing on the down side is that the room was so very small, but I guess that's France.

I would recommend this clean and quiet hotel, located in the centre of Grenoble, but there should be the possility to choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms.

This was an excellent hotel at a very reasonable price. The central location was just around the corner from many restaurant and the main shopping area. The room, although small was very nicely appointed. The lift is tiny.

At very central location. Average type hotel, not very clean or well maintained. Shower sprays all over the bathroom. Space is ok. Parking is relatively far away in public parking house (I think it was free for hotel guests, can't remember exactly). Attention: breakfast costs extra, as usual for France.

Excellent value for the price. Easy walking distance to the old parts of the city.My only problems were with the church bell that was right behind the hotel and started ringing at 6 am and the bed that was somewhat hard.

We had asked for a room with a balcony and were very pleased with our room over looking the square. The room was quiet even though it was next to the lift. It was pleasantly furnished, clean & well equipped with air con, teasmade, minibar, hairdryer, TV & DVD. We had hired a car through Hertz and the hotel staff gave us payment vouchers for the carpark which was only 2to3 minutes walk away. From the car park it was easy to drive out of town. I thought it might be noisy at night as it overlooked the Place de Victor Hugo but it wasn't.

I stayed at the hotel 3 nights for a business trip. Did not spend much time at the hotel but found it to be a nice hotel at a very central location. The free WiFi service was especially easy to setup and fast. However, I found that the rooms very a little cramped but clean and comfortable.

Very quiet room despite being on street side -- double windows helped. Great location a block from the tram (line B). Free wireless Internet connection was appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

Major problem - parking. Hotel uses nearby multistorey with VERY restricted headroom - no 4x4's no roofboots etc. Parking is particularly difficult in Grenoble so this caused us a major hassle. Hotel however was very comfortable.
