The Hotel Stoiser is located in Mariatrost, a historical district of Graz. The city center is only a few minutes away, yet, the hotel is surrounded by unspoiled nature. Our hotel has 50 comfortable double rooms with all modern conveniences.

While the price quoted was double at check-out, it was well worth the money spent. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was excellent, and the surroundings were enjoyable. The only complaint is that they are so far from the Graz's city center where all the hustle and bustle is, but worth the extra amount of time to travel there by taxi or street car!

Stanze ampie e pulite. Un po' scarsa la colazione. Non c'è il Ristorante interno, ma offrono un ottimo servizio di Catering in camera o presso la sala per la colazione dell'albergo

The hotel itself is very good. Standards are of a good quality and the staff were first class. The sauna room is only open at night which means we did not get a look at it. Two areas to note... 1. It seemed very quiet. At times at breakfast ( which was your standard Continental fare ) you were almost alone. 2. Its nowhere near the town centre. Balance the cost of the hotel with the amount you will spend on taxis. My reckoning is around 6km from the Main Square. Yes it is near the Basicilica and in a wooded area, however it is MILES away from the town centre. Around £10 one way in a taxi. Graz is a beautiful city and we had a great time. The only negative being the need to wear out two pairs of shoes if we had decided to walk to the town centre.

I had a very pleasent stay; the only thing I like to criticise is the availability of the channels on the TV set. The mentioned channels in the provided overview in the room haven´t been available completly.

traffic noise is quite loud in the rooms situated on streetside; city center is 25 tram-minutes away, what is said not clear enough in prospect; friendliness of personnel, wellness-area and breakfast are excellent - we would go there again!

On the A9 freeway to Graz, exit Graz-Andritz, towards Graz city center, via the Grabenstraße to the Geidorfplatz, via the Heinrichstraße and then the Mariatrosterstraße.
On the A2 freeway to Graz, exit Gleisdorf-West, towards Graz-Ries, after about 13 km follow the sign to Mariatrost turn right, after about 3 km another sign, turn right again to Mariatrost.
By train
From Graz main station, take the streetcar number 1 and get off at the stop Teichhof.
By plane
From Graz-Thalerhof airport take the bus to Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), then the streetcar number 1 and get off at the stop Teichhof.
