Nice room, nice view from our balcony (I believe they upgraded us). The hotel is in walking distance of the area of Gravedona I enjoy, including a small grocery store. Easily found from the main road around the lake, close parking. Breakfast was also nice. I would stay here again. They also have free WIFI that I was able to access from my iPhone.

The location, pool and view over the lake from the breakfast room was stunning. The breakfast was really good but the lack of a restaurant was strange given the location and view from the breakfast area - it would make an amazing dining room. Had the cheaper room without balcony or direct lake view. My companion had a lakeview room with small balcony and it was really lovely. The room itself was fine. It was at the side of the building but was over the service entrance and the noise of delivries early in the morning was a problem. The Hotel is easy to find on the approach to Gravedona - a bit of a walk into the centre of town though.

Lake view room with stunning view from top of lake Como + balcony. Lack of on site restaurant surprising especially given the breakfast area and generous breakfast.

Nice little hotel directly by the lake. During our stay, most guests seemed to be German couples but despite this, because of the nice pool, it is also suitable for families with children. Note that there is no restaurant at the hotel (there is a bar, however). It takes a 5-10 minutes walk to get to the (small) town of Gravedona. There you will find a handful of (modest) restaurants. There is some sort of hydroelectric power plant just next door to the hotel and, depending on wind, it does not always smell of roses... All in all a very pleasant stay with very friendly staff to look after us. Prices seem somewhat inflated, however (perhaps due to bank holiday).

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Regina! It was a beautiful, lakeside hotel. What made it exceptional though was the CUSTOMER SERVICE of Sabrina, the front desk attendant when we arrived. She was extremely good, taking care of our needs, going well beyond the call of duty. She helped us get started, explained everything carefully, and even gave us advice on how to lengthen our stay in Gravedona!

Our first visit at Como Lake. We were lucky, that we found Gravedona. Gravedona is a very nice little town, not spoiled of tourism. Regina is situated directly on the lake, about 500 meter from the center/harbour. It was so very very beautiful from our balcon. Everything at the hotel was OK. We will certainly stay there again.

Very good price/quality hotel. Only issue is the lack of a/c, which makes the rooms rather hot.

Beautiful location. We had an unbeatable view from our room, which had a lovely terrace, and from which we could hear the waves lapping on the beach below and the bells from the church in Gravedona.

Great position overlooking the lake and looking across the bay to Gravedona, yet only a short walk into the centre. Set well back from the road so nice and quiet. Rooms very clean and well furnished and good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Only one small quibble - could have been more generous with the bathroom supplies which were only replaced a couple of times in the week. Gravedona is a nice quiet resort near the north of the lake. It does not have so many ferries as the centre part so planning is needed for days out on the lake, but it is quieter and less commercialised which we liked. One final comment - This is an expensive area especially with the poor exchange rate at the moment so take plenty of money with you.

First time at this hotel, chose it just from its description online. It was lovely and we had a great stay. The only minus was the lack of AC. True it's the mountains and the north but in July it's still hot enough to be a bit uncomfortable trying to get to sleep. Thankfully they had fans to put in the rooms but there were a limited number of them.

The view is fantastic, breakfast was ok...but it is a hotel mostly visited by germans...we were basically the only ones which were not. We had to leave a day before the end of our scheduled stay because of the high level of noise of their drinking parties. The hotel did nothing to stop them...it lasted until 3am. Be aware...NO AIR CONDITIONNING. Also, ask for a room on a high floor, because fishermen likes to lurk inside your room at night if you are on the first floor. Overall very deceived...too bad, the view was great though.

The hotel is very clean and in a good location in terms of directly on the lake with beautiful views, the 2 towns on each side are 10-20 minute walk, which was not a problem for us. The staff were pleasant but we experienced a much friendlier and helpful service at Hotel Aurora in Lezzeno and Hotel Bellavista in Valmadrera. This hotel has a more formal atmosphere, rather like a new home that hasn't been lived in yet. Due to this, I would probably not stay in the hotel again, but there was nothing specifically wrong with it. Gravedona is a pretty little town, we came across 2 or 3 restaurants, some bars and a gelateria (highly popular with the locals and we knew why, the ice cream is fabulous). It is a very small town though, so would not suit those who want to do alot. We did hire a power boat for 2 hours in Domaso, the next town which was €75 for 2 hours and a good way to experience the lake and have some fun. We also drove up into the mountains which was a long drive but worth it for the scenery.

Seules les chambres avec terrasses ou balcon sur le lac sont très agréables. Les autres sont tristes. Petits déjeuners meriteraient d'etre étoffés.

The hotel is a little on the far side from Como but once you get there you forget about everything. The views - AMAZING!!! definitely get a lake view room if you can,its worth every cent! Gravedona is a gorgeous little town definitely not as touristy as some others which is a plus. there is a nice walk from the hotel to the town centre which has shops, some cafes and two 11-12 centure churches. The room we got was HUGE! staff extremely helpful - one of the nights we asked for glasses, plates and cutlery and they obliged with a smile! Amazing stay, will definitely go back there.

The room was as described, with nice outdoor balcony. The only disappointment was the lack of restaurant, with only breakfast being served. The location is stunning on the lakeshore, and the people including the owner are friendly and helpful.

Hotel Regina is ideally located away from the hub of the tourist town of Como. The locals are very friendly and the scenery is exceptional. The hotel is fairly new and in some parts you could still smell the concrete render. We paid a little extra to get a room with a view over the lake and it was just gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities included a bidet as well as having full access for wheelchairs (not that we needed this). The hotel has access to the internet where you pay for extended usage at a fair price. A few of the staff speak English and it seems to be run by a family. As for food you really need to check out the gelato bar down the road by the pub. They have just the best desserts and all made on the premises. We had a berry dessert that seemed to be laced with berry liquer, just divine...we have never tasted anything like this in Australia. All the food in this little district seems of good quality.

The town was awesome, the historical church was beautiful and the restaurants were reasonable and good. Since we haven't been to every bar and gelatto place we have every reason to go back! The owners worked very hard to make everything a pleasure for us and we appreciate that personal service. We were also happy to have plenty of parking available - especially with our big van.
