It has been my first time in Grasse and I will probably come back some day with my children and grand children. The location is fine - not far from Antibes Marineland - easy access to Nice and the French riviera. I have spent a wonderful vacation.

It was quite pricey. There was not a lot of information on getting to the hotel from the train station (and it was a fair distance). I was surprised (and delighted) that my room included a kitchenette.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we would certainly go back. Staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was pleasant and comfortable and the option of being self-catering was great when there are so many excellent food shops within easy reach and a balcony to sit on. Worth shopping around on web-sites as prices quoted varied considerably - Venere was easily the best!

We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the valley all the way to the Med. from our large balcony. That was the highlight. The room's furnishings were old and the room was moderately clean. We had a nice kitchenette. The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke great English. The location was good for taking the bus to Cannes and Antibes. It was a long bus ride to the train station. I wouldn't stay in Grasse again. Find a place closer to the coast.
