Comfort Hotel Mandarina - Grasse

Great view over the city.

We stayed in a quadruple room and my parents in a double room. Both very spacious and nice. Sightseeing from the hotel is fantastic. Hotel where to come back surely!

Our stay was very comfortable and excellent value for money. The view from the balcony is magnificent, and we enjoyed a pleasant dinner on the patio. The hotel has good parking, with only a short walk into the town.

Very nice Hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful view to coast from balcony. Hotel is situated high above Grasse, about 1 kilometre walk. Restaurant in evening was very good, also breakfast.

The manager was extremely helpful in helping with language and making calls to relevant car hire firm after I wrecked the front of our car by driving into the side entrance wall.The room was comfortable although the bathroom was clean enough it was in need of refurbishment.

The room was clean but too small, without air conditioning and near the parking area. The hotel is near the centre only if you use stairs, by street is 10 min walking.

We have arrived around 7.30a.m.-tired,with 3 children/teens.We wanted to eat the dinner-the lady at the reception told us that it is IMPOSSIBLE as we don´t have the RESERVATION to eat!I have found it as very strange,as we were the guest of this hotel!So,we went out of the hotel to have the dinner at pizzeria which was not easy to find...Ivana Rudicova I recommend to place this information for next guests at the internet - for the dinner at the hotel you need to make the reservation !

Fantastic views over Grasse yet easy walk to old town. Good family quad room. A good choice for a stay in Grasse.

The carpark was absolutely atrocious. No management of spaces - we were completely blocked in on the morning of our return flight, delayed by one hour because of this mismanagement and only made the flight by the skin of our teeth. Not even an apology. Small, cheap hotel rooms - but then it wasn't the most expensive place on earth. This place is a nightmare if you have a car.

The Mandarina has obviously been recently renovated. Parking was available, but extremely tight, so somewhat difficult to get out in the morning. Front desk closes at 11 p.m. and doesn't open until 7 a.m., so an early departure is impossible. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Limited power outlets in room, but an extension cord was quickly provided on request. Restaurant pleasant, but food quality only average - for France, this was our poorest meal. Room was comfortable, with a beautiful view.

A good place to stay in Grasse if you can ignore the gigantic stairs that leads this hotel to the city centre. My Wife was pregnant at the time so this really was an issue. The hotel is clean, good breakfast, the parking works as a plus (Care with big cars here). The city itself is a fake, no good atractions whatsoever, the so said perfume museums are nothing more than a shop with a little plus and prices are not that great. You can take the bus 8G at the bus depot in order to avoid climbing the stairs for 1 euro per person if you wish (we did just that).

We go to Grasse for a trip business (MIPTV Cannes) and we really enjoy this hotel. Prices are very good (comparing with the show!!! hope they will keep these rates) and services too. Staff and director very helpfull and very kind. Thanks to Aurora for her welcome. The place is very pleasant and the breakfast fantastic... simple but very nice... hot croissants and fresh bread!! We definitively come back tho the Mandarina.

The property has undergone refurbishment, so the photo's should be updated. We got a very nice surprise when we pulled up. Gorgeous location and lovely clean rooms. Fantastic views and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine.

The best hotel in France I've seen.

El desayuno es muy escaso y les cuesta mucho "reponer" lo agotado. Además cuesta 8 € y no 6 como se dice. El parking es gratis, pero limitado, los primeros aparcan y el resto se las "apaña" como puede. El recepcionista te indica que tienes uno público (de pago) en el pueblo si no cabes en el hotel. La recepción no está abierta por la noche y no destacan por su amabilidad...

Ein nettes kleines Hotel am Berg mit einer fabelhaften Aussicht auf Grasse. Wünschenswert wäre ein kleiner Pool.

I thought it was excellent value especially since it was peak period. It had a fabulous view , very calm and conveniently located to the town center.I stayed two nights , one on my own and the second with my teenage daughter and her friend as they were returning from a sports camp in Les Orres. My stay was functional but would return when on vacation in the area in the future. They were also very flexible in giving me a triple room for my second night as it was more economical. The communal areas are well kept and good value for money. Parking was a little tight. Thank You, Mother and two teenagers.
