Hotel Vincci Granada - Granada

This has got to be the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in, We were waiting for Basil Faulty to appear! Reception staff so rude, arogant and very sarcastic to me when I asked if the room allocated was indeed an executive as we had booked as the room was dreadful, small, very hot and SOOO noisy! An engine was on top of the "executive" room that went on all night! Would highly recommend booking elsewhere!When I mentioned that the Vincci in Marbella was lovely I was told that Vincci in Granada had no beach!!!!However the deputy hotel manager was very helpful and apologetic the following day and tried to rectify the situation sadly it ruined our stay in Granada and wouldnt go back. We were told that the matter was going to be brought to the Hotel General Managers attention, whether it was is another matter!

Special the service in the bar en restaurant is very good

We were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff at the reception. The waiter in the restaurant was more than we expected.Surprised by his professional behavior.

Spacious room for two with comfortable beds and nice sitting area. Farther away from center of town than expected but not too difficult to walk. More of a conference hotel but worked out great for us.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel very much ... excellent view and good value for the money.

One of the best hotels in our stay. I would certainly recommand the place. Excellent breakfast buffet. The only complaint we have is about the trainee at the reception desk. She was not fit for the job (tense, stern face and no smile) and we feel it was the staff's responsibility to supervise her properly, which they didn't do. Her command of English was very poor and she was at a loss when she was handed our reservation sheet. She couldn't find the reservation on the computer and we thought for a few minutes that we were not expected. We wished the staff around her had helped her. It would have been okay if we had had apologies when things were sorted out but we didn't get any.

Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was excellent and bus stop was quite near the hotel.

Some of the rooms are not really 4 star quality and need updating. For some reason the hotel has stopped it´s valet parking service and that is very inconvenient as the garage is not below the hotel. Also, when you want a drink or food at the bar, you often have to wait some time for a member of staff to arrive.

Hotel common areas are unimpressive, staff helpful and friendly, location Ok.

Great relationship between price, quality and location of the hotel (15 minutes walking far from the center). I suggest you!

This is our 3rd stay and although the rooms were looking a little tired they were clean and guite spacious. It is ideally situated for walking aroung the city, close to the Cathedral. We were on the 13th floor and had a great nights sleep as they was no noise. The staff were very helpful and even parked our car for us! We will be back!

Ottimo albergo situato all'inizio di una delle arterie principali della citta' che dirigono verso il centro (raggiungibile in 20 minuti di passeggiata o da un numero considerevole di linee di autobus).

Friendly staff, speaking well english, good breakfast, good parking, close to attractions.

The air conditioning was not working in the bed which we stayed and when the reception did not offer any solution when the problem was reported. For a four star rated hotel, this place is in serious need of renovation and refurbishment.

Modern hotel with fabulous views over the Sierra Nevada from our room in the 15th floor. Diffficult to find the hotel entrance off Granada's one way system, even with a sat-nav!Hotel is in a business district in city centre, 10 mins walk to historic tourist attractions. Quirky hotel parking arrangements, but otherwise a competent and friendly welcome, (unlike many places I have stayed in Spain, where service standards can be lower than my liking). Clean and spacious room, with flat panel TV, broadband, marble bathroom and minibar etc. Good value rate, and bountiful buffet breakfast. Impressed with what I got for €90/room/night. I'd go back.

The hotel is nice but the services standard in particular in the public area was not compatible with a 4 star hotel. There was a distinct sortage of staff! I filled in a complaints form.

The hotel offered car-parking service which was very important to us as we travelled by car. The hotel is not in the centre of Grenada but very accessible by public transport or taxis which are very affordable. A good hotel to stay for a few days, if you have a car.

We had requested a non smoking room but were given a smoking one. Upon complaining, this was sorted out promptly and efficiently. However, the supposedly non smoking room smelled very stale as if it had been a smoking room not too long ago. The bed was so uncomfortable that I could hardly sleep but the room was quiet and the aircon worked well. Another downside was the major roadworks outside whch made it tricky to get to the hotel and it was really an eyesore. I guess the really cheap rates compensated for this. Price was really good. A bit out of the action but the city centre is easily accessible by buses which stop nearby and run frequently. There is even a bus to and from the airport which stops nearby.

Very nice hotel. No real personality but confortable clean and reasonably convienent. A little difficult to reach the interesting part of Grenada due its distance from the town center and ongoing construction of the streets in front of the hotel. The latter should not last too long.

Hotel in posizione semicentrale. Accoglienza discreta. Il garage dell'hotel era completo (12 euro) per cui siamo costretti a parcheggiare in un limitrofo parcheggio pubblico (14 euro al giorno!). Camera un po' piccola ma con una bellissima vista, al 12° piano. Arredo in buone condizioni ma con colori smorti (beige, marroncino) che rendono la camera triste e datata (in realtà invece di recente fattura). Aria condizionata solo discreta. Colazione ottima con vastissima scelta (ci sono anche le bottigliette di olio extravergine monoporzione!).

This was my second visit to the Vincci Hotel,the only thing missing which would have improved my stay would be tea and coffee making facilities in the room, apart from that I think this is a great hotel in a good location to be able to explore granada. I would certainly stay there again.

I would like in a future stay that it is possible to choose not to have the room cleaned some of the days, to take care of the environment.

A well-run full-service hotel. Rooms are on the top floors of a high-rise and well away from street noise. An easy walk from the train station, and also an easy walk from a bus stop which handles most major buses, including a bus which runs to the main bus station. There is a very reasonable laundry service (5 a sec) just a few blocks toward the train station on the same side of the main street (Av. de la Constitucion) on which the hotel is situated. Only complaint was that the air conditioning was very weak - perhaps I was there too early in the season (late March) for the AC to be activated.

Habitaciones con terraza en pisos altos con genial vista sobre granada, a 5 min andando de la catedral.

When i booked the hotel i got the impression the breakfast was included in the price. In the hotel the breakfast was charged.

Our only problem was getting to the front door because of the extensive roadworks immediately outside. Maybe the website could advise on the best approach route while the disruption continues? Otherwise we were very satisfied with our stay. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were most helpful.

Jederzeit wieder, günstig und zentrale Lage (15Min. zu Fuß von Kathedrale)

The main problem with the hotel was that the toilet/bathroom pipes were apparetly blocked. Bad smell was coming out of them. When you had a bath, soap and water would come out of the bidet. The double room was small for two people. When we were checking in, It took a very long time for them to find our reservation in their computer system.

El Hotel está muy bien situado. Andando al centro son 10 minutos. El personal en general fue agradable. Todas las habitaciones están en las 2 últimas plnatas, por lo que te garantiza una vista segura. Yo pedí vistas a la Alhambra en la reserva de Venere y me las dieron. Las habitaciones no son nada especial, muy de hotel de convenciones, bodas y demás. El desayuno está bien, con un buffet con todo lo que se pueda desear. Un poco caro el desayuno: 11 euros pero bueno, no está mal. Aun estando bien el hotel, creo que no repetiría, ya que por el mismo precio he visto pequños hoteles familiares en la zona centro hacia el Albaicín con el mismo precio pero con mucho más encanto y dignos de una ciudad tan hermosa como Granada. (No están en Venere, buscar por google: hoteles con encanto en Granada). Un saludo Eduardo Martínez.

Nice and clean hotel. Not exactly in the center of town, but very close.

L'aria condizionata era assolutamente insufficiente. le camere non si rinfrescavano mai. i letti sono durissimi. ATTENZIONE: il parcheggio è a pagamento.

Non centrale ma abbastanza comodo. Si trova a 20 minuti a piedi dalla cattedrale. Colazione, parcheggio e cassetta di sicurezza non sono inclusi nel prezzo.

It was a lovely place to spend a holiday except for the noise (two lover's scream) we heard during the second night from 2.00 to 7.00 o'clock from the next room. We didnn't sleep all the night!!!

Very sober business hotel, but ok
