Hotel Saray - Granada
P Enrique Tierno Galvan 4 - Granada
877-662-6988The outside of the building and its delightful surroundings are as nice as the hotel interior, that is decorated with Arabian style.
The luxury and the refinement of the hotel are reflected also in its gardens, fountains, palms and flowers. All these elements evoke the style of the Alhambra and its patios.
Whether you come for business or pleasure, on-site you will find everything you need to get the most of your stay in this unforgetable city.
Hotel close to Alhambra, 10 mins and 5-6 euro with taxi. OK restaurants nearby.

We found the personnel not very welcoming. They were often talking amongst themselves at the desk, not even looking at the clients in front of them waiting. We often felt that we were disturbing them. It was the only hotel in spain (Grenada) where we felt this...we had been to Seville, Marbella, Cordoba and Barcelona. The hotel facilities were great, but because of the attitude, we would not return to this hotel...!

Perfect hotel with a good relationship price/quality. Good location (Bus to and from the airport) 15 minutes from the city center. I have enjoyed it and strongly recommend.

Our booking price was excellent, the rooms were nice, but the prices at the hotel for food and services were expensive, there was no help offered for luggage handling upon reception, which unfortunately seem to be common now days. Although many of the employees where helpful and professional, on departure there was one extremely impolite front-desk clerk who treated my wife with utter disrespect in response to a request for information/help to find a space to change our 14 month baby. He then refuse our request to speak to the manager and entered into a heated argument when we ask for the complaint form, which is clearly posted to be available upon request. So even though the hotel is ok, I would recommend staying at another hotel closer to/in the historical center of Granada.

It's a big hotel, too far from the Alhambra. Don't walk to get there, you'll get tired with no purpose and you'll need it later. No one was kind enough to tell us that, at the hotel. Very expensive parking 16 euros per night

An impeccable and spacious room, spotless & nicely appointed. The hotel is next to the convention center, catering probably to convention guests, public spaces are a bit impersonal and window views are not exciting. A nice swimming pool, good for families with children. It is an easy 10-15 minutes walk to the center and the hop-on-off bus stop nextdoor.

Beautiful hotel, excellent serevice and warm welcome from staff,--with exception of bar servicec wehre we found some "attitude" to mar the usual casual atmosphere whwen haveing a drink. But this was very minor coinsidering the entire experience. This was nto the first Venere resevation forour travels sin recent years. Bravo! Rachmael BenAvram

Zona tranquilla, leggermente decentrata. Dall'hotel si raqgiunge il centro facilmente a piedi. A poche decine di metri c'è la fermata degli autobus locali e di quello per l'aeroporto. Camere moderne e funzionali. Buona la colazione a buffet.

Very nice large newer hotel, not too far from the center city...at least a 10-15 min walk. Too far to walk to the Alhambra...Clean rooms and hospitable staff. Parking onsite. Not many restaurants near the hotel so we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was very good but the room lacked atmosphere...set up for tour groups and conferences... We are a family of four and we would have like joint rooms or family room but they did place our family close together on the same floor.

Nice hotel takes about 15 minutes to walk to cathedral in centre of city. Pool area well kept and nice and relaxing. Rooms large and modern. air conditioning. Good underground parking area just next to hotel. Costs 15 euros per day. Room safe is a plus so you dont have to carry all your belongings with you.

We stayed at hotel Saray for just one night but found it to be a wonderful hotel. the rooms were extremely clean and modern, we had a great TV and a fountain just outside the window. The bathroom was spacious and had an excellent shower. The hotel pool was also a great feature, especially on a hot afternoon in Granada! Easy 10-minute walk to the historical centre and about 15 minutes to the Alhambra. Overall, we found it to be excellent value for price and would recommend Hotel Saray to couples and families alike.

This is a hotel used by the locals at the weekend for family dinners and wedding receptions etc. Good quality, great buffet breakfast, comfortable modern rooms. The walk into the centre of town is around 10 minutes and 20 minutes stroll to The Alhambra. Unless you want to pay the price of being in the town centre, this hotel has a lot going for it.

Wonderful hotel, with beautiful services and great rooms. The staff is friendly, with excellent service. Hotel always busy and staff could handle any situation with graciousness. The only problem is that the location is far from downtown. It is really geared for the convention center next door, rather than for visitors to the sights of the city.

Stay per se was perfect, hotel is not in the center but well connected by public transport - anyway the center is not far on foot, although the Alhambra is not and you will need to catch a convenient bus. Watch out if at the reception they tell you that the Alhambra has no more tickets left for a certain day ... you may go to the Alhambra in person and still find tickets (we did it!)

Had great stay here with hubby and teenage son. He was booked into a single room but actually got a double.Pool was a real plus after a day hitting the sites. Breakfasts were good but cooked items a bit cool. Location was spot on for finding when we arrived in car as signposted all the way from motorway and really convenient for city centre with a lovely stroll up a rambla type avenue to main eating places. Also easy to get on tour bus as there is a stop on roundabout at Palacio De Congresso just 50 yards away. Underground parking a bit steep at 15Euros a day but at least safe and cool. Thought it was very good value for money and excellent location.

I stayed in granada 2 nights (3 days) the hotel was really nice, the thing is it is a little bit far away from the city centre. Taxis were hard to find and the people attending front desk weren't very informative. I think hotels like this one should have computers for guests to use.

Worst hotel ever!! Extremely noisy: noisy works, noisy guests, noisy streets, etc. IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP! Incompetent staff: they won't book you a cab, they can just call if you need it now. They charged us non-existant meals at the swimming pool, etc. Hotel crowed by large groups of youngs, old, all noisy people. Totally unsuitable for a discrete couple, all these gangs of people just don't think there are other guests in the hotel Room with amazing iron marks on the carpeting. Tiny swimming pool Ex-centered hotel. There are better hotels better located in Granada!

When we first arrived, coming from Barcelona, we were a bit nervous about the surroundings and felt very far removed from the main tourist areas. In truth, we were just a short distance away but travelers for the first time should be aware that it is a 10 minute walk to the center of town and that the hotel is in more of a residential area. That being said, it was nice and quiet which the center of town probably wouldn't be.

This large hotel was efficient but felt rather impersonal. The staff are competent but do not exude much warmth or charm (with the exception of the delightful waiter who on a busy evening conjured up a vegetarian meal with maximum charm and minimum fuss). It is well placed for Granada city centre (about 15 min walk) and the Alhambra.

The Front Desk personnel were very responsive and attentive to our needs. They assisted my wife resolve an issue not related to them at all making phone calls, allowing my wife to send faxes, etc. The also informed us how to get tickets to the Alhambra and informed us the best way to get there via free shuttle. Overall, one of the best experiences during our trek through Spain! PS: We were a group of four, two couples. The rooms were spacious, clean, modem. The Lobby was very spacious and clean as well. They have underground parking with elevators. It costs about $13. to park but it is worth it because it is very difficult to find a spot to park in Granada.

Not centrally located, but ideal for anyone not up to a whole days sight seeing and therefore wanting a pleasant outside area in which to sit, with a nice pool and plenty of sun loungers/seating available. We were surprised at how little English is spoken in this area, but applies everywhere, not just this hotel. Take a phrase book. Breakfast buffet also good value at 8 euros.

Be specific with Saray's reception staff if you walk in 'off the street' and only want to stay one night in the hotel. A colleague of ours came to Granada for three days to meet us but wanted to stay only the first night at the Saray. The individual at reception booked our colleague in for three nights then, when corrected, refused to allow our colleague to stay in the hotel at all!

A lovely hotel, very modern but in Moorish style, was immediately impressed with the plush reception area and outside glass lifts! Very nice pool and pool bar area as well. Very satisfied with the room and the service, the only thing I could have a slight grumble about is the daily charge of 13 euros for the car park, there is absolutely nowhere to park in the surrounding streets, every space taken, so had to pay for 3 days parking. And the reception and bar staff weren't overly friendly but nonetheless very efficient (although I was told that the locals of Granada weren't the most friendly anyway as their nature). But they are only small gripes I had, Granada is a lovely place with so much history and I will definitely return soon, and stay at this hotel, without any doubt.

We arrived at Saray after a long drive from Ronda, and was very impressed by the excellent service level of the reception. The lobby is very spacious with tasteful interior decorations. Ahmed, a fine young gentleman, welcomed us very warmly, he was courteous, happy and extremely helpful, an asset to his organisation. Saray paid attention to our Venere reservation requests and gave us the type of rooms we needed. The pool is pleasantly small with private access via a pool elevator. Nice Andalusian landscaping and architecture. My family have good memories and highly recommend it. Close enough to the city, and convenient to go to Alhambra

An excellent hotel for a family visiting Granada. All was exactly as described. Breakfast was expensive for Spain and somewhat over crowded in the dining room. Other meals were exhorbitant, but the proximity of the hotel to the commercial centre of town meant that there were several good restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the commercial district and eating areas. Despite the unattractive exterior, the interior is calm and spacious. The staff were efficient and the room was a good size and well presented. The pool area was a nice spot to rest after the rigour of the Alhambra. The hotel is slightly let down by the breakfast which tastes better than it looks. The scrambled egg seems to be put out early on and develops a crust by about 08.30. The other non-cooked breakfast items were fine and the coffee was good.
