A great place to stay if you're up to hiking the slopes of the Albaicin. Great owners, local restaurants and the proximity to fantastic overviews of the Alhambra. Most pleasant and helpful owners we've experienced in many stays throughout Europe. Be sure to order your tickets for the Alhambra/Nasrid Palaces before you go.

This is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff, in a stunning location. Our only issue was difficulty finding the hotel, based on the map / directions on the website. The Albayzin is tricky to negotiate at the best of times and there were also roadworks which prevented us taking the route recommended in the directions. I would recommend obtaining a very detailed street plan of Granada, or using a GPS system, prior to trying to find this hotel! Other than that it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This a fantastic hotel, situated in the beautiful Old Town of Granada. Although a bit tricky to get to by car, it is well worth the effort. The building is historic, the rooms situated round a small courtyard. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The neighbourhood has nice restaurants and nice views over the city and Alhambra. If you're going to Grenada, this is the perfect place to stay!

El hotel nos encantó, la habitación y el baño muy espaciosos (la bañera era enorme), el patio interior desde el que se accede a las habitaciones es muy agradable, la decoración está muy bien y el desayuno genial, muy variado y rico. El personal muy amable. La situación era estupenda, a 5 min del mirador de San Nicolás. Eso si, el Albaicyn es un barrio peatonal complicado para conducir, recomendable dejar el coche en el parking.

How to reach Hotel Santa Isabel la Real

By public transportation
From the main bus station or the train station, take the bus line 3 and get off at the Gran Vía-Catedral stop. A few metres from the stop, take the minibus line 31 and get off at the Santa Isabel la Real stop, which is located right in front of the hotel.
By airplane
The Granada Federico García Lorca International Airport is located at only 7.4 miles/12 km from the city centre. There is a bus service which connects the airport with the city centre, that leaves each hour. Get off at the Gran Vía-Catedral stop. From there, you can take a taxi or take the minibus line 31, which stops right in front of the hotel (Santa Isabel la Real stop).
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to reach the hotel. A taxi ride costs about €30,00.
