Hotel Santa Isabel la Real - Granada

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The room was quiet, although facing the courtyard there was no view. The temperature in the room was perfect and breakfast was excellent. The lounge was very comfortable and the free liqueurs very welcome after a cold day in Granada. Location was very convenient, a short walk downhill to the town although a bit longer walking back up. There was also a handy bus which stopped close by. We had dinner at La Mancha just up the road, a simple but excellent Moroccan restaurant with a very friendly proprietor.

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were available and helpful at all hours. There were homely touches, such as the fruit, liqueurs, papers and books in the lounge. We appreciated the availability of a computer for use by guests. The bathroom was roomy and convenient to use.

The hotel was really great, it is high up on the hill in Granada overlooking the city. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre and there is a bus that can take you to and from the main shops/resaurants is you don't feel like walking. Though the walk is very steep it is well worth it to experience the back streets of Granada. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming, a good breakfast is provided and Internet access. Overall a good value hotel with only 10 or so rooms that provides personal service at a good price. Would stay again.

A great place to stay if you're up to hiking the slopes of the Albaicin. Great owners, local restaurants and the proximity to fantastic overviews of the Alhambra. Most pleasant and helpful owners we've experienced in many stays throughout Europe. Be sure to order your tickets for the Alhambra/Nasrid Palaces before you go.

This is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff, in a stunning location. Our only issue was difficulty finding the hotel, based on the map / directions on the website. The Albayzin is tricky to negotiate at the best of times and there were also roadworks which prevented us taking the route recommended in the directions. I would recommend obtaining a very detailed street plan of Granada, or using a GPS system, prior to trying to find this hotel! Other than that it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This a fantastic hotel, situated in the beautiful Old Town of Granada. Although a bit tricky to get to by car, it is well worth the effort. The building is historic, the rooms situated round a small courtyard. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The neighbourhood has nice restaurants and nice views over the city and Alhambra. If you're going to Grenada, this is the perfect place to stay!

El hotel nos encantó, la habitación y el baño muy espaciosos (la bañera era enorme), el patio interior desde el que se accede a las habitaciones es muy agradable, la decoración está muy bien y el desayuno genial, muy variado y rico. El personal muy amable. La situación era estupenda, a 5 min del mirador de San Nicolás. Eso si, el Albaicyn es un barrio peatonal complicado para conducir, recomendable dejar el coche en el parking.
