This hotel located located on Plaze Neuve at the base of Alhambra was an excellent location for walking to Alhambra and the Albayzin neighborhood, however, at night the location was very noisy almost the entire night from outside partiers. Perhaps a room not overlooking the Plaze would be quieter. I was expecting a hotel with old-world charm, but instead I got an old hotel with some deferred maintenance issues.

Great location but with a second floor room fronting the plaza, things were a bit noisy for a while each night (mostly our fault as we sleep with windows open). Easy walking access to old arab quarter, as well as the walk up to the Alhambra. Also only a few minutes to the Cathedral and centre of Granada. Recommended.

- An excellent price for a hotelroom like that (yet price depends on season). - Plaza Nueva can sometimes get noisy in the evening/night, but with windows closed, it's quiet.

Prés du centre historique (Albaicin) et de l'Alhambra, donc très bien situé. Nous regrettons l'absence de petit déjeuner sur place mais surtout la difficulté pour se garer et le prix prohibitif du Parking ...

All the rooms seems very nice, but our room has just one window... INSIDE of the public area of the hotel!! You can listen all the people getting in or going out from the hotel. For privacy and noise... much better a room with a window on the street!

This was the least expensive of our hotel stays in Spain but still provided very acceptable accomodations. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The location was great for sightseeing but a bit of a challenge to approach by car. While our GPS took us directly to the hotel, there was very little room to maneuver and no place to park in front. Their garage is a block and a half away and you need help to find and enter it. Once safely inside, the garage was actually quite spacious. Overall, the hotel was a good value and a pleasant stay.

This is a nicely situated hotel for the Alhambra and the Albaycin area. Our only criticism would be that although our room was spacious it was not nearly well enough lit at night. The lights in the room were adequate for getting around but not, in our opinion, bright enough to read by.

My room was uniquely decorated with a music theme running throughout. (Each room has a different theme.) The furniture was of good quality, the bathroom had marble, the staff spoke English, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located on a popular plaza where there are numerous bars and restaurants; therefore, one should expect some "noise" at night. There is a computer with internet service in the lobby which is free for guest use. The hotel is well located for walking to tourist sights.

The geographical position of the hotel was very good; everything that we wanted to access i.e. bars, Alhambra, Albacin was right on the door step. We had a room at the front of the hotel and therefore wonderful views over the Plaza and Alhambra itself which was a massive bonus, as the rooms themselves and the hotel, is reasonably basic. Although the windows are reasonably soundproof, I think if you were a light sleeper the noise from the Plaza at night, may be a little disturbing. The hotel is pleasant overall and our room was nicely decorated. However, I found the main entrance to be fairly drab and outdated. The rooms were cleaned everyday however there were no tea/coffee making facilities or iron etc. although there was a wall-mounted hairdryer. I would definitely return back to the hotel however be mindful that you are paying mainly for the location which as I have said, was excellent.

Nice comfortable hotel in the very centrum of Granada, next to the Alhambra and Albazyn. The only fault was the price of the parking, 18 euro a night, too expensive. Staff was not so friendly, but at the end they did their work. I would go back to the Plaza Nueva.

The location is good. the room is good and its price is appropriate. the breakfast was expensive, so I didn't have it. "a 2 minute walk to the Alhambra" is not accurate. "a 2 minute walk to the bus station for Alhambra" accurately. a woman stuff was very warm-heartedness. a man stuff was a little irresponsible. "Palace Alhambra" is great!!

We chose this hotel mainly because it had a parking for our car and seemed in a good central location and easy to find. It is in a very good location for visiting Granada but it took us 2.5 hours to find this hotel even with a sat nav. We eventually gave up trying to find it or a parking place and left the car in a very small underground garage. We then walked until we found the hotel. The hotel is very clean and pleasant but if you have a car I would recommend garage parking in the suburbs and a taxi to the hotel.

The location of the hotel is on one of the most beautiful squares of the city with easy access to the airport bus. alhambra bus, cathedral, shops, entertainment, bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful spacious room on the square with the view of an alhambra tower. The room was huge with LCD satelite TV, fluffy towels and traditional architectural features including moorish wall tiles. The view was amazing from the balcony. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel and prefered coffee and bodadillios al fresco in the square every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall this was a wonderful hotel to stay at, we would definitely recommend it to anyone especially for the price offered on venere.com

The Hotel is centrally located on the Plaza and very close to Alhambra and the Cathedral. Everything is walking distance. For a holiday, this is a a perfect place to stay with lots of eating places close by. The Hotel staff are extremely friendly.

My room was very clean, comfortable and the whole building was pleasantly warm. The small reception desk was not particularly welcoming, but staff were polite and helpful. The only downside was the extremely noisy building work taking place in the building adjacent to the hotel. Okay with windows closed, but unbearable with the windows open. Unable to comment on breakfasts, as I took breakfast at one of the numerous outdoor cafes, which were much cheaper.

This Hotel is on the main Plaza in the center of the old city. You can't get any more centrally located. Steps to all major sights and practically next to the park that leads uphill to the Alhambra. Fabulous location. Getting to this plaza it a little tricky on all the one way streets if you are coming by car. Also the plaza is primarily a walking zone with taxi and street car access. We did not see any public parking near by so used the hotels garage which was 19ec per day which was expensive however we there only 2 days. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was noisy one night due to a party on an adjacent roof top so we closed the window and turned on the airconditioning. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Great price.

We first could not find the hotel because of an area which was not approachable for cars. After a telephone call we were told to go just in there. The hotel has a perfect location, very local and near by everything you want to see. The hotel staff is very helpfull to tell how you can reach everything.

I hate this hotel, their staff are unprofessional, rude and very lasy. They not change my towel in 3 days.... They try to charge me more than i have booked with venere. I have to show my email resevation and after that they try again to charge me more. I have to WAIT almost two hours for my check out. The guy named John doesn´t know how to do the check out and i have to wait for the nest reception person for my chek out. I never recomend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly and helpful reception. Hotel parking was close enough to the hotel. However, the hotel parking space is very, very narrow - We live in Europe AND had a tiny rental car AND are used to tight European parking garages. The gentleman from the reception acutally got in the car with us to get to the hotel parking (it's a private garage and obviously the hotel has a few designated spots there), which was very helpful. It nearly took 5 minites from the time we arrived in front of the parking space and the time we got out of the car. The gentleman guided the car into the space, but he was not watching the left side of the car, and therefore, we had to pay for the scratch caused during this maneuver. Hotel location is very, very good. Close to the alhambra and the cathedral, but I would not recommend to anyone who reaches this hotel by his/her own vehicle. Because we always travel with a rental car, we would not stay at this hotel again. Hope this helps.

Staff was completly not helpfull. They gave us a room whose window was in front of a disco, and when I claimed, and asked another room, they were surprised and made it my fault if the room was not at my taste. The safe in the first room was not working and I asked 4 times, during 2 days, to the reception to check it, but their answer was they don't know how to do it. Also, even if an exchange office was 5 minutes from the hotel, they told me they didn't know where there was one. Breakfest is a shame for the price paid. I am still wondering why this hotel has 3 stars. It is a waste of money and I won't recomend it to anyone.

We booked for 3 nights, but switched to 1 night, not because of the hotel per se. We had a car, and we arrived during the parade of the Kings Festival. Since the hotel is centrally located and was very close to the parade route, many roads were blocked off to cars. We had an extremely hard time finding parking ANYWHERE! We gave up, drove to the airport, & took a cab back into town. The cab actually had to drop us 1km away from the hotel because of road blocks. We also left because we decided to go skiing in Pradallano.

Our room looked out over the plaza, with great views towards Alhambra. However, this made for extremely noisy nights! Maybe inevitable cost of being in such a central location. Breakfast wasn't included in the price, and was overpriced - OK if you arrived early, but sometimes very little left.

The hotel is centrally located on one of the city's main Plazas. As such there is a lot of all-night activity right outside your window. So not the place if you are a light sleeper. The staff are very helpful and contrasted heavily to the problems we were having with the general rudeness of the Spainish people. Forget about driving to this hotel - we ended up circling the place for nearly two hours and ended up parking 2 miles away at a shopping mall parking lot and walking to the hotel. The room was well laid out but it had not been dusted in a few weeks - there was a layer of dust on all the furniture and floor.

We arrived on a Sunday by car, not realising that many roads are pedestrianised for the evening - couldn't find any way in to hotel parking and trying to approach the area was in itself pretty stressful. Reception area of this hotel is very drab and unpromising. Unfortunately, there was a power cut to the hotel immediately after our arrival putting out all the public area lights and the safe deposit in our rooms - and the air conditioning on a hot night in July. We booked 3 rooms-2 were charming but the third had no natural venitilation as it looked inwards over the stairwell and was horribly chlostrophobic. None of us slept - far too airless and the elctricity was off until 3am. The twin rooms were, however, well decorated and more spacious and all were very clean. Reception staff were charming but seemed somewhat inept and inexperienced and there was confision about our tickets reservation for the Alhambra. Breakfast was a delight in a modest breakfast room and buffet style with crusty bread, ham and salami as well as muesli fresh fruit and truly delicious coffee and charming service.

The hotel was pleasant but didn't really reflect a 4 star hotel which was quoted on several web-sites. I never received an e-mail confirmation of the booking from the hotel itself and therefore no clear directions as to how to find it - due to roadworks in the city at the time, there were several diversions and this made it very hard to access the correct roads.
