The room was small and one of the employee made a mistake in a réservation for us . Anymore, our three days in this hotel weree great .

Todo perfecto, excepto la iluminación de las escaleras, y que al tratarse de un palacete antiguo, no hay ascensor. Nos sorprendió muy gratamente que fuesen miniapartamentos.

I found that the staff were far too laid back. No help with luggage to our rooms especially for my father in law who is 85- Breakfast was expensive and extremely poor. Reception staff had not much idea, especially thin dark haired woman who appeared clueless. Larger lady sat on her seat most of the time and was rather unresponsive, although 100% better that other woman. Rooms were very basic. Problem accessing building with care, although had been mentioned that parking available when we booked.

Attractive hotel with nicely presented rooms in an excellent location. However, I have never before stayed in a such a poorly sound proofed room. Noise could be heard from neighbouring rooms on all sides (including above), communal areas and, worst of all, outside on the street. Does the hotel description mention the small nightclub next door? A terrible night's sleep - thankful stay was only a short one. Not worth the money! Also, hotel is buzzer access only - very irritating being 'let in' by a suspicious receptionist.
United Kingdom, Jun 2008
It was difficult to find the hotel and also to get our luggage from our car to the hotel as there was so much traffic. Also we were unable to park our car on a nearby road (as directed by the porter) and in the end we had to locate (on our own) a car park with space (very difficult) then get back to the hotel on foot. When we did manage to get to reception we had to wait for ages as the receptionist was on the phone. The rooms we were allocated were very dark and dusty and the windows looked into an interior space. During the night there seemed to be metal bins being moved around plus people talking. Very noisy. The bathrooms were very small. I was extremely disappointed considering the price that we had to pay for our rooms. The only good thing that I can say related to the hotels proximity to the Alhambra.

Only the public area of the building was attractive. The room was poky and dingy. The loo had been used when we arrived and our room was not cleaned. We were told we could book a taxi just 15 minutes before we needed it (to collect our car from the airport) but the hotel could not get a taxi for us so we had to walk to the nearest rank. A convenient location for the Alhambra but overpriced. I wouldn't go there again.

An atmospheric hotel offering bed and breakfast in an ideal position for sightseeing in Granada. It appeared to have been recently refurbished as our bathroom looked brand new and everything worked efficiently.

The building is beautiful and has been very tastefully restored. The rooms are decorated beautifully and are clean and a good size. Location was also great, within very short walking distance of all the main parts of granada. It's worth mentioning, however, that it does not have a restaurant, is a little cold in winter and doesn't have any facilities in the room for making hot drinks. Overall though, I would definately reccomend it.

Finding a possibilty to park is very difficulty in the Albayzin and to transport heavy luggage. Better to avoid this. Nevertheless, the location is great, the view to Alhambra excellent and near by are very good Bodegas,Tapas Bars and sights. The hotel has very good ancient walls, nice furniture and the bathrooms are very clean and comfortable.

We chose Hotel Palacio de Santa Ines for its location in El Albaicin and also because it was a typical Spanish palacio with courtyards, etc... and also because of the view of La Alhambra from the bedroom. In the reception area, there is an album photo that depicts the state of the building when it was bought and the extent of the renovation works. Not to be missed!

Palacio de Santa Ines is a finely stately building in a quiet plaza close to the old quarter of Granada. As a hotel it is excellent - comfortable, spacious, elegant. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other visitors to Granada. As a visitor to Granada it is not easy to drive a car close to the hotel, because of narrow one-way streets etc. We parked our car in a down town parking lot (about 12-15 Euro for a 24 hour stay) and took a taxi to the hotel. In reserving our room we asked for, and were given, a 3rd floor room. High above us, on a hill across the valley, we could see a corner of the Alhambra from our bedroom window. This was an extra benefit which we much appreciated. There is a tourist office within a short walk of the hotel - also very useful. The hotel is a little more expensive than the average, but for a visitor who like some comfort and elegance it is still good value for money. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We visited the Alhambra the next morning (by taxi) and left Granada with wonderful memories both of the city, and of this outstanding monument to Moorish art and architecture.

What a charming hotel - comprised of beautifully renovated adjoining townhouses. Located very near Plaza Santa Ines and at the foot of the Alhambra, you couldn't ask for more convenience. Charming, old, narrow-streeted area of Granada. Only drawback was that the lobby had no A/C - but the rooms did. Largest bathroom I've had in Spain! Every amenity you could want. I'd definitely go back - such a good price for such a great room/hotel.

A wonderful place, in the center and near to every location interesting for tourists. Employees are very kind, beautiful rooms and - if you are lucky - a shocking view to Alhambra. Very good and not too much esxpensive.

The room was perfect for our family of four - the kids loved their loft hideaway and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very helpful with check-in, parking, dinner reservations and general information. The location was prime for tourists in Granada - close to the Cathedral, the Alhambra, Plaza Nueva and bus stops. The only small difficulty was finding the hotel on arrival, because it is in a pedestrian zone in the heart of the Albaicin district.

We had a superior double on the third floor with a view of the Alhambra. The area is great to explore from and for restaurants. The bus stops very close to the hotel.

The hotel was difficult to find and neighboring streets are narrow and one-way. I finally left the car nearby and took a taxi with my luggage and left my glasses in the taxi. Rudy, the very kind concierge, called the taxi service many times for me until the taxi driver finally came by to drop off my glasses. The hotel also made reservations with an English-speaking guide/tour of the Alhambra, and dinner reservations as well. I liked the service very much and would recommend this hotel for that, as well as its very convenient location.

Our first trip to Granada and this was a truly outstanding location and hotel. Elegantly restored from the 1500's and fairly priced. I would recommend this to anyone. I would recommend spending the extra 20 Euros to stay in a superior room.

Cosy little hotel in a former palace with lots of atmosphere. Easy access to all tourist sites by walking. However hotel impossible to be found by selfdriving without help of a taxi. Not even a stopping possibility in front. Three floors with no elevator. Definitely to expensive for the comfort offered. Parking fairly near for extra 25 Euro a day.
