Hotel Hospes Palacio de los Patos - Granada

Modern hotel situated just outside the main city within a confortable walk. Many restaurants available for those wishing to eat out. The palace is a long walk uphill but a taxi ride at 6-7 euros was for us the best option, or you can catch a bus from the city. If you wan't to see the most visited monument in Spain it is a good idea to book in advance via the net to avoid the crowds.

A nice modern hotel in a very central location. People who love modern design and architecture would love this hotel. However, because it is located in the central business area, the streets in the area could be noisy at night. When we were there, there was a function in the hotel. In accordance with the Spanish tradition, the guests were eating and drinking till past midnight and making speeches at 12:30 in the morning. The noise could be clearly heard in our rooms (we were a party of 8 in 4 rooms). After the party was over, there was a loud conversation on the street till past 3 a.m. Most of us could not sleep.

I have completed a survey for the hotel as well. The main issues that had a negative impact on our stay were: No where with a seat and mirroe for my wife to do her hair and makeup. Inconsistent charging for hot water room service between 8-14 E. We were charged 14e for a glass of really very bad brandy and told it was Spanish best! I told the manager all this and nothing happened, Whis is a shame as most of it was excellant

A beautiful mix of old and new, this hotel is architecturally very special. Although it is perhaps not located in the best part of town, it is near the shops and everything is in walking distance. The staff go out of their way to help.

Best cost performance hotel I've ever stayed in Spain. Since I had to bring my laptop to work during the vacation, I appreciated free WiFi. The room is very modern, clean, bright and spacious. Restaurant is with top quality at around 80Euro for two. Since Spain food has less vegetables, I enjoyed the menu with delicious green dishes.

It was very important to us that our friends should enjoy their stay in Granada - it was a thankyou present to them for their great kindness. Everything about the hotel was top notch even to arriving back after our evening out to find the sheets turned down and carnations laid there! If you want a special hotel then this is it ! The staff were wonderful - even giving us umbrellas on our way out to protect us from the rain! Our only disappointment was the restaurant when we went to breakfast - (you may want to think about trying another one - there are plenty in the surrounding streets.)the hotel restaurant was expensive and offered poor service,

We had a small problem finding the hotel, we were travelling by bicycle and I didnt have a map of Granada at that stage. Everything about the hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and smiled like they meant it. The room was perfect, even the air-con was quiet (and worked). Breakfast was a bit expensive (but was good). We would not hesitate to stay here again. I dont know how they do this quality at this price.

City hotel

The bathroom is very nice, we have relaxed. And this hotel is near the Cathedral, near the Alhambra and near the Albaicín where you can find the nicest places from Granada.
