We stayed in a quad room, and it was spacious enough for the four of us. The Hotel is the narrowest in the worl so you can't expect olymic sized swimming pools and tennis courts, but the neigborhood is naice and the hotel is at a walking distance to the town center...To The Alhambra..you can take the city bus for only 1.20 euros a trip...I think the hotel is a family business, so the guys at the front desk are really nice..Would surely stay there again.

Great little hotel. Fabulous location. Room was small (but not by European standards). Character of the room made up for lack of size and we had plenty of room for sleeping and luggage. Bathroom and shower/bathtub were a good size. Jose at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. There are four floors and no elevator, which was not a problem for us, but it's not a good place for someone who cannot climb stairs. There is a rooftop terrace w/great sunset views of the city. Free computer in the lobby for internet use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

If you go to Granada stay here! A family lead Hotel in the very heart of Granada with friendly and welcoming treatment. It is only a 15 minutes walk up to the Alhambra and if you ask for a Restaurant recomendation you will always be fine. Was a great stay. We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. We will surely come back!!!

The Hotel is very clean and perfumed, the rooms are a little bit small but, comparing quality and price I can say we are very satisfy! The guy at the reception is very kind and gave us a lot of useful suggestions on the city: intersting paces to see, good places where to go to eat... this is makes our staing even better! thank you very much!

I recommend the hotel ONLY if you DON'T HAVE a car: it's a real nightmare to arrive at the hotel by car because it is located inside an area controlled by videocameras...DO NOT reserve room 101 because it faces the street: a lot of noise will not let you sleep!!! However, the people at the reception are fantastic and very very kind.

Location quite good but a bit hard to park nearby until you get to hotel and find that they can let you park out front to unload bags. Then they have a carpark adjacent which costs I think 14 euro per day but well worthwhile. Great restaurant across the road with English lady cooking and quite reasonably priced. Great location and easy to get to places of interest.

For that price (39,-- € for a double room) it was really a great hotel!!! Especially the location near the Alhambra and the cathedral was fine! We really can recommend that nice little hotel!

The location of the hotel is very good, 15 minutes walk to Palace Alhambra, hotel staff friendly and helpful, internet(wireless) works well and for free. The room though is not so nice, furnitures/bed are quite worn out, the linens and bath room are clean but the whole room gives a not fresh feeling. It looks like no real effort is putting in to make the hotel into a good one. It's a pity the hotel occupies such a good location, if they can somehow renovate the rooms with better beds and funitures, put souls in running their business, then they can serve more happier customers with higher price than today. I'll not recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel Molinos was a great experience because of the extremely friendly receptionist who is *i think* the son of the hotel owner. For the price I paid, it was in a great location, very near to the Alhambra as well as Gran via. From the hotel, it is only a 15min walk to Plaza Nueva. Also, there's this Plaza very near the hotel which has a row of tapas place. The one that's nearest the hotel (Baco i think) was great too. Good beer, good tapas, good atmosphere.

Based on previous reviews I knew this was not a luxury hotel but seemed OK. We had a very bad first night because we were given a room with a very very strong smell of desinfectant. It was too late when we got back from the restaurant to try to change that night especially with kids in a room next door which was better. I am told that this is often due to smell coming from the sewage system. We changed for the two remaining nights in a room that didn't have this desinfectant so we slept better. The room are very small, my bed was against the wall so not convenient to get out. The room is clean but the decoration is a little outdated so this is definitely not a hotel to stay in your room very long. Otherwise the hotel is very quite, it has a parking very close, it's 10 mns by minibus in front of hotel to Alhambra, it has lots of bars just around, so good for those who want to stay out in a student area. Its 10 mns by walking distance from Cathedral and Plaza Nueve where you can reach the interesting areas to visit. So for the price its quiet, clean and I forgot to say friendly and helpful people at reception, well positionned. Just avoid the rooms with that desinfectant smell wours was in the second building adjacent to the entrance of main building.

Trés bien situé pour accéder à l'entrée de l'alhambra à pied (env 15 min). Chambre calme.

We had orginally booked a double room, but the bed was extremely small, so we asked to be given a twin bedroom which was a bit of a struggle but in the end we succeeded: 102b in the adjacent building was SO much better! Avoid reserving a double room and forget romanticism... At least you can sleep well at night! The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from the Alhambra.

Great price/quality (in low season) and courtesy. We went there at the beginning and at the end of our trip in Andalusia. The first time the room was small, but comfortable. Good location, 5-minute walk to to centre (Cathedral/Plaza Nueva). Nice restaurants, pubs, bars nearby. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Single room was very small but functional and very clean. The only slight problem was that the sound of toilet/shower/pipes from next-door rooms was quite prominent. I would definitely go again.

This hotel was very near the centre and easy to find. The bus for the Alhambra goes straight past it. We booked Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday night was very quiet but Saturday was so noisy with revellers returning home past the hotel - it was difficult to get to sleep. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together which wasn't very good. The staff were pleasant but didn't speak any English at all. There's free internet connection. The room was big. I wouldn't stay here again due to the noise and the bed!

Granada can be expensive for hotels so Hotel Molinos is a moderate cost option. It has its own secure parking which is valuable for drivers. It is also on the main bus route to the Alhambra. It is walking distance to many restaurants and other attarctions including the cathedral. Rooms are modest and bathroom is small. Desk staff were very helpful but had limited English (or French) capacity. The greatest drawback was the street noise late into the night and early in the morning.

The staff was incredibly helpful, despite the language barrier. David and Jose are both learning English, but cannot easily communicate in that language. However, they are patient and they encouraged my rudimentary Spainsh and, with pantomime and gestures, all our needs were met. Muchos "kudos," guys.

The next door nature/multiple doors to get to my room was not an issue. Safe and quiet neighborhood at night. Received directions on which way to hike up to the Alhambra and it was very straightforward and scenic. From the hotel, it was a great route. Returned via the traditional street which had lots of tourist shops in contrast.

Generally good for the price, though the Venere price was much better than the hotel's rack rates, which would have seemed a bit much for the area/quality. The receptionist who welcomed us was lovely and very helpful, but the two guys who worked the other shifts were uch less so, which let the place down - we moved to the Ninfa (lovely) after we decided to extend our stay mainly because of this. Room was fine though up a lot of stairs, seems to be a significant chance you'll get moved to their other building.

Narrowest hotel in the world (see pic of certificate!) but we had front room - whole width of 5.2m, which was quite large, ensuite, with useful balcony. Location fine in daytime, but noisy late at night and early morning due to bars/nightclubs nearby. Fantastic location to walk to all of Granada's many attractions. Directly opposite is pathway up (..up..up..up) to Alhambra palace. Free internet in lobby, and very helpful friendly English-speaking family staff. Parking arranged in handy secure private parking 1 minute away, at additional cost - but left car there for whole visit. Unloading/loading directly in front of hotel with staff assistance was welcome. Better location being in the old city rather than a bus ride outside town.

Room was in hostal next door, requiring three keys to enter and key retrieval at desk next door, no problem. Room smelled of chemical, probably disinfectant. Shower stall very tiny typical of many European one-stars, but not typical of our stay in rest of Spain. Noise from street goes on late into night and starts up again around 8:30-9AM, but ear plugs took care of that. Location at bottom of Alhambra hill was great, quick bus ride or hike up to entrance. Great view of Sierra Nevada at end of street with high quality wall graffiti including Louis Armstrong. Great funky little neighborhood with fresh markets and late-night kebob joints for food. A few minutes from Plaza Colon y Isabela and Plaza Nueva and Albaicin. Easy trip by bus or cab to train or Autobuses Estaciones. Watch out for cab at rush hour, though. It cost us 13 Euros because of congestion.

This was a good room for the price. We needed a room for 4 adults for sleeping/bathing purposes only. The room was clean. It was in a building next to the main hotel. The reception area is small, but clean. The staff was friendly. We waited while registering rather than leave our passports at the desk. There was no soap in the bathroom. Our train arrived later than usual, so we did not venture out into the surroundings at night. We walked down to a main street for breakfast and our tour of AlHambra

We had a very warm welcome at the Hotel Molinos, with a map of Granada and instruction on how best to get to the Alhambra: only a twenty minute walk from the hotel. In fact the hotel is in a handy location, convenient for the centre and the major sights. We had a spacious, clean room on the top floor, with a lovely view and good bathroom. We knew beforehand that there was no lift, but that was no problem. The man in reception was very helpful and offered to carry our case upstairs for us. There is a coffee machine in the atrium, where guests are entitled to a hot drink and a snack type breakfast in the morning, but why worry about that when you have many great places to have breakfast nearby, including a bakery across the road. We think that El Molinos is a lovely hotel for the price, excellent value for money in a central area handy for the centre and the Alhambra.

The small and cosy hotel is very near to the Alhambra and the town center. We were able to park the car in a narrow street close by. No problem because we did not need the car for 2 days. The room wasn't that big but that was to be expected. It was clean and that what counts the most for us. We did find the beds a bit hard, but we could sleep well though. It was a pity that other quests came 'home' at the middle in the night and were very noisy for awhile. This happened twice for the 2 nights we stayed. Except for this the hotel is to be recommended.

The hotel has just 3 rooms per floor. Ours was one of the rear two, which are either side of an internal patio so all have natural light. It was small but clean and comfortable. There was a notice asking us not to touch the controls of the air conditioning, and it didn't appear to be working, which was not much of a problem in October but would be in the summer, obviously. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. At least one spoke good English. Breakfast was very basic (one roll and coffee) but was included in the 'room only' price of €54. The hotel is not in the smartest part of town, but it's within easy walking distance of the Alhambra and the Plaza Nueva. It was fairly quiet at night. Driving there is quite difficult: Calle Molinos is signposted from some distance away but it's not that obvious when you've reached the street. The hotel is in a section which is one-way (away from the city centre only), and parking outside the hotel, even briefly, is usually impossible. We eventually parked one block away in the Campo del Principe until we'd checked in. We paid €13 per night for the hotel's secure parking, which is very close by.

El hotel estaba limpio y muy centrico, los empleados muy simpaticos y atentos, esta situado en la ruta en microbus a la Alhambra lo que lo hace muy conveniente especialmente si tienes tu visita reservada temprano.
