My wife and me spent 3 nights by this hotel. The hotel have a good value for money, the room was confortable and clean, but: - the desk location does not allow an efficient control of the people going into the hotel; the only employee sitting at the desk seems do not be in condition to avoid unautorized entrances.Further he seems not be interested in this type of activity...In other words the safety feeling is very poor - there is any possibility to purchase somethinghs to drink (water): no bar, but why not at least one dispenser of beverages?! - the turistical documentation you can find at the reception is very poor - the public area except the restaurant is very poor

Ancien monastère, reconverti en hotel simple et confortable. N'hésitez pas à demander les chambres du 2e étage qui sont plus calmes. Situation centrale et facile d'accès pour une première visite de Grenade.

The receptionist was very grumpy on our arrival and not very helpful and the room was noisy all night because the door opened directly into a busy corridor and wasn't sound proofed at all. The room was small but very clean and well appointed and comfortable for us. Our window opened into a school playground so I don't know what it would be like during term time! The location was excellent - easily accessible by car from the main trunk roads and only 10 minutes walk from the main areas of the city.

Extremly loud untill 12.15 a.m.(!) because of young people playing soccer in the inner yard. Room 217: terrible smell in the bath room and even in the sleeping room. The rooms are overdue for a total renovation. Quality of breakfast: good

Hotel is well situated and staff were courteous and obliging. Our rooms, we were five couples, were clean and sufficient but backed onto the school playground where children were kicking balls around and shouting well into the evening.Only real disappointment as a group, was lack of any lounge or somewhere to meet for a drink. Photo on website of terraced restaurant looked great but in reality that was only used for functions and we could not sit in that courtyard when empty as no seats. Breakfast which was charged as an extra was also a bit of a disappointment. But on a positive note, we didn't spend much time in the hotel in that wonderful city and it was perfectly adequate for our needs.

Its not a monastary, only thr reception area looks like. the biggest disatvantage is: outside the rooms is a sport field an a school so you have a lot of noise in the morning from the school an in the evening they will play football on the court. as an exampel: on easter monday the football club played until 12 oclock in the night. choose another hotel in granada.

Excellent location beside the river and with easy access to city centre, shops, restaurants, cafes, and it is possible to walk to the Alhambra from the hotel, if you are reasonably fit, or to catch a bus or taxi.

A lovely converted Monastery.Staff friendly and efficient,Rooms cleaned spotlessly each day.Location 10-15 mins from main square, quite central.Breakfast was excellent value for money, with marvelous scrambled egg & Bacon. The 8 of us had a good stay, it would have been even better if the weather was warmer, but it was quite cold, 10 degrees C.No problems with noise from the schools on either side, but it may be an issue in Summer if you are early to bed.

A pochi passi dal centro, ci ritornerei, ho avuto solo qualche problemino a raggiungerlo in auto, causa la viabilità spagnola, sensi unici e indicazioni...

The hotel is located within a 20 minutes walk from the Plaza Nueva from where one can board busses to go to tourist places. It is located in an old monastery which is still being renovated. This means some noise and dust, though not much. It also means that the common areas aren't tended to. Rooms are small and spartan. Shower is tiny. Shampoo comes in small pouches... Ask the receptionist where to park your car. Do not leave it in front of the hotel, even if there is space. You'll get ticketed.

Ottima posizione per chi viaggia in auto. Edificio originale e molto suggestivo. Camere silenziose anche se con arredi molto semplici. Prezzo molto conveniente. Personale attento e disponibile.

Not so bad, not so nice. These are the few words i can use to define my stay in Monasterio de los Basilios. Surely they can do something to improve the breakfast offers. In my opinion the prices are a little higher in relation to the general quality of the room. Good location to reach the centre of Granada by a walk and also to reach the hotel by car coming from motorway.

The hotel was ok. The staff was very nice but the rooms were not that great they were small and everybody has there preference right? but honestly the place was in a pretty good part of town I just think that the rooms could have some more up keeping.

A wonderful quiet escape from the corporate scene. Perhaps scope for better direction to the nearby (200 metres?) underground public car park, and a more comprehensive map showing how to get to the hotel when enterning the city for the first time.
