Hotel Maciá Gran Via - Granada
Gran Via De Colon 25 - Granada
877-662-6988La Alhambra, Generalife and the Albayzín quarter were declared as World Heritage by UNESCO in 1984, due to the rich examples of Moorish architecture. On-site facilities include a restaurant, cafeteria, Internet Point, meeting facilities, a TV room and laundry service.
The hotel is centrally located and the room was great. However I think the personnel at the reception need to be more friendly for they were a bit serious.

The carpet and furnishings were very old. The bathroom was very clean - thanks. It was also very quite - thanks. However, I would not stay here again unless the rooms were updated.

The staff was very helpful they recommend a fantastic Flamingo party and booked for us. Great location, just few steps from the main Catedral. The bus stop is just few steps away. You just get out of the hotel to find many restaurants and cafe's. The only thing we miss is a fridge and a free safe in the room, otherwise everything was excellent.

Very spacious room. No noise from the street at all, but walls between rooms very thin, but as far I am concerned, it is more like a rule than an exception in Spain. Fitted carpets in the room felt dirty. Good bed and pillows. Very friendly staff, garage in the same building. Breakfast could have been better, and "flowers" in the breakfast room were awful. Location excellent. Totally satisfied, 69€/night/2 persons/including breakfast and parking. Would come back.

Better than expected! The only trouble was that instead of a big bed, there were 2 joined, but overall, everything was fine.

The only thing is that the bathroom smelled bad, everything very clean, but had to close the bathroom door to keep smell out of rest of room.

Great location, internet room, very clean, very nice setting in the bar but I feel the price was a bit high given that it was a tiny, dark room with only one plug-socket (at least two should be there as a minimum). Breakfast bar only open until 10.30am - but although the café was supposed to open at 11am it didn't until after noon. Ideally located near all central attractions and close to an underground car park, with very helpful staff.

The hotel was clean but the guy who sing us up was very rude. There was a young guy, he was pretty nice, but the older man throw the bill to my friend.

A decently priced hotel located close to many attractions in the centre of Granada. Parking could be a problem since the Gran Via is closed to general traffic until late at night unless you come into Granada via a specific route. Tapas bar immediately outside to the right is pricey, but there are lots of others to choose from !

Very good location in city centre, and for bus to the Alhambra, quite a long walk from the train station. Helpful staff. Some glass on the floor was the only thing spoiling the cleanliness score. Got twin beds when expecting double

The hotel was okay for the price but it was much less satisfying than I expected. The rooms were crummy and very out dated. Bed was very hard. Bathroom was old and nothing special. The TV was from 1970 and only had a few channels. And you could hear ALL street noise. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it.

The hotel has an excellent location. You can walk to the Cathedral and the Royal Church because they are pretty close to it. Also there is the bus stop 2 blocks far away from the hotel so you can go take the bus that goes to the Alhambra right from there. The rooms are clean and quiet. They are big enough to. I really recomend this hotel.

Great hotel and location. we payed 55euros for a double room which was clean, quiet, spacious with tv but poor shower as was difficult to get under it. the hotel can reserve tickets for the alhambra which is a good idea as basically the alhambra has a limited amount of people allowed into it a day and it will save you time arguing with the staff up there who claim you cannot reserve. this hotel has parking at around 10euros a day. the only bad points are that it can be quite difficult to get to due to the one way roads and roads for authorised cars and the archeology site digs. the hotel signage is poor and the front door isnt actually on the main road but around the side. . . but the hotel is in a great location! if taking a taxi make sure you state it is on gran via as there are two marcia hotel quite near each other. would definately stay here again.

Hotel situato in ottima posizione a 2 passi dal servizio navetta per l'alhambra, e praticamente in centro città. Ottimo prezzo per una stanza molto spaziosa, arredamento nuovo e ottima pulizia. Consigliato

We arrived late and the staff was waiting for us with everything ready. It is a little far from the train station, but we took a 4 euro taxi ride (very recommended if you're arriving late) with no problems. There is a bus as well and it is walkable. It is very well situated, close to the Alhambra and many restaurants, as well as the bars and clubs. (But far enough away that there is no noise). The rooms are not huge, but there is enough room and the bathrooms are very nice, with fantastic showers.

Reception photo on the web is not actually their reception! A bellboy was kind. Although a reception lady was awfully unpleasant. She did not smile at all even looked angly for two days. Also she gave us a wrong room key when we returned from outside.

Poor rating on the welcoming resulted from an obviously stressed chap at the desk having to deal with a bus tour in transit at the time we arrived to check in. Thought we might be at Fawlty Towers instead. Low noise score due to the ongoing construction in the building next door. Fortunately they knock off at 1900, and break for siesta, but if you want a nap during later in the day, you'd better be able to sleep through stuff like the constant running of a compressor or ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. Otherwise a very nice hotel and well located to the Alhambra and other major sites and services.
