We were made very welcome indeed by the patrons of the hotel who were both kind and very helpful. The rooms were lovely, the bathrooms clean and spacious. The position of the hotel was perfect with secure nearby parking at a reduced rate. We cannot believe what good value this hotel is. It would be still good value at twice the price. We would love to return and will do so as soon as possible.

What can we say about the Las Almenus… this place is a gem. The hotel is fantastically decorated, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. We went to Granada to see the sights and experience the culture, we were not disappointed. Jose, the hotel manager is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and he’s more than happy to oblige as best he can. His knowledge and advise of things to do and see, and even the best time to get there should be taken seriously. He helped us no end in having a fantastic holiday. His hotel staff are also fantastic and friendly. The hotel is situated within easy reach of everything you’d need to enjoy your stay. Any complaints?... Not a one. Would we recommended the Las Almenas?... You bet we would. Would we stay there again?... Without question :)

A nice family run hotel, with well appointed, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. The central location couldn't be better for getting to the Alhambra and around the old city. The only problem is finding it! It is in a big main street but not well signed so look for the The Best Western Hotel Dauro and Las Almenas is directly opposite. It's possible to park in the bus stop outside the Dauro for a few mins to unload. Las Almenas has hotel parking just behind it for 15 euros per night.

Very good location near shopping mall, supermarket, fruit stand, bakery. 10 minute walk to centre. Helpful and friendly management. Big bed, firm mattress. Room had a safe, small balcony. Provided with room as requested. Non smoking. Across the street from the airport bus - very convenient. Excellent shower. No stand to place luggage on (and space would have been limited). Computer available, however, costs money to use. Air conditioner worked but leaked; management apologized and brought towels to soak up water.

The room I stayed was quiet, and had a bath room. Probably, Japanese people take a bath every day, so it is very important. But, unfortunately, the breakfast service is not up to my standard. I would like to have breakfast as buffet style. But if you leave early in the morning without taking breakfast, the hotel is highly recommended.

Great value. The hotel was very nice. Unfortunately the guy on the desk.in the morning when we arrived was not very friendly. however, the rest of the staff seemed very nice. Only other issue was that the room wasn't ready when we came to check in. We had to wait 1/2 hour. Otherwise our stay was great.

A great in-town location for those visiting Granada and the Alhambra. The hotel building is beautiful and well-maintained with lots of polished marble. The attached cafeteria' is very convenient for a quick meal. A small investment in WiFi that works in the rooms would be helpful. Above all the staff were very helpful.

no competence and misleading indications offered by the manager. little room with no fridge sold as a "de luxe" one. No help in booking tickets for alhambra, at the point that i had to be helped by a different unpayd hotel that informed me about the reserved places hotels can enjoy and use for their customers. Impossible to use the wifi for the first day because they gave me a wrong key-code and noone realised the mistake!!! NO TO RECOMMEND

The receptionist was very eager to give us information about the city. After checking us in in English, he had a conversation with my mom in Spanish, he then helped a couple in Italian, and then later another in French. Totally fluent in all four. The server at the attached bar was also very friendly, and full of great conversation, even at 11pm. Room was wonderfully decorated. Hotel is close to many major bus lines and major landmarks of the city. And the Corte Ingles is just across the street!

Outstanding stay really. The man at reception was incredibly helpful & had great recommendations on what to do in Granada including the best spot in Albaycin to get the most amazing shots of Alhambra Palace. Really good location, close to the hop on hop off stop, easily within walking distance of Albaycin, Realejo, endless restaurants & was also suprisingly quiet. Most definitely would recommend.

Besides the cleanness of the room and good location, I want to mention how much I am grateful to the owner family. During my stay I was in a big trouble, and nobody can be more helpful than the owner family. Their hospitality and compassion was amazing!! I will never visit Granada without staying at their place. The cafe/bar beside the hotel was also great. Good foods/drinks with good price, and their service was nice too.

Great value. The location is near a bus stop, but Granada taxis are cheap and easy to use. We took a bus to the gypsy caves and walked to the cathedral which is 10 min away. Near the cathedral you can catch a bus to Alhambra. One staff member was extremely friendly and helpful, the other two not so much. The room was large and lovely, newly renovated. I thought Las Alemenas was an excellent hotel, both for the sheer quality of it, but also the quality for the money spent. This was in part because of the well-furnished and lovely room, the windows that helped cut out noise, but also because of the excellent customer service provided. I would be hard-pressed to find a hotel of the same quality for this price in my hometown of Vancouver.
