The stay was terrible: hotel was under restructuring even if it was july. Our room was unclean, with very old and poor furniture and uncomfortable beds. Toilet also was unclean. The whole structure was noisy all day long, due to men at work, starting from 8am. I will never book this hotel again.

If I have to travel to Garanada again I will definitely stay in Juan Miguel. The hotel is in the central part of the city, in walking distance to most interesting sights and transport. The airport bus stops in front of the hotel. Excellent value for money.

The location of the property is perfect, it's in the new area of the city but at 5 min from the old center. It's very easy to go to all areas of the city. The hotel, room and employees were all great. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights in triple rooms, and had no problems. Good stuff: (1) Friendly and helpful staff; (2) Hotel had all the facilities we needed - safe, fridge/mini-bar, TV came in handy when lounging; (3) Central location - was walking distance to sites, restaurants and shops. However: (1) Noise (running water) could be heard from the room above when the bathroom was presumably being used. This might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. (2) Bonus would be to have breakfast included in the price, though it was available separately for 10 euros, which is perhaps a bit steep. Would recommend.

This hotel is really well located in Puerta Royal, and an easy walking distance to lots of good places. The staff spoke good English, but I found that they, and just about the whole of Granada not really well geared up for tourists. For example, the hotel staff did not know where the airport bus went from, how long it took, or what it cost. The tourist information office had virtually no information about the sights in Granada. You need a really good guide book in Spain. The breakfast in the hotel was extra, and very expensive - I recommend using the little cafeteria at the back of the hotel which was much better value.

;P! Nuestra conclusión es que estamos muy satisfechos.

Very comfortable hotel in good location, close to the cathedral area. Airport bus stop just down the road and the local tourist bus stops nearby. Very good breakfast available but cheaper to eat in the attached cafe. The only problem experienced was noise in the hotel itself which carried between rooms and along corridors but this would not stop us from using this hotel again!

The location of this hotel is it's best feature. The double rooms are pretty standard compared to other european hotels. However, the triple appeared to be the same room they use as a quadruple and was huge with a great view over the square that is in front of the hotel.

Hotel is very easy to find. Good directions from Venere. Very good location for sight seeing.large spacious room for European standards. Mini bar at very reasonable prices. A small coffee shop 50 yards down the street La Tran (The train) is perfect for a good coffee and a danish ! The only negative is that the hotel is on a fairly busy street so the weekend when we stayed got a little bit noisy, but don't let this put you off. We would recommend it.

Hotel is ok. Location is great, just 10 minutes walk from Plaza Nueva. Our room was small and noisy in the morning (even if it was on the back). It seemed much bigger on the web site. Air conditioning is very noisy. Bathroom is old. I espected a bit more from this hotel. Reception is very kind and the underground parking is very comfortable (there s a lift from the garage to the ground floor where reception is). It's very hard to get there because of one way streets and also very expensive (14 euros per 24 hours!)

Quiet, VERY conveniently located in centre of Granada, easy walking distance to majority of sights and university, friendly non-intrusive ambiance, very helpful front desk, excellent breakfast ( range of food) to provide sustenance for a busy day... a good price. Loved the many squares in the proximity of the Hotel and the nightly presence of families, from the most youthful to the elderly. I enjoyed.

The Juan Miguel is a great place to stay for the value. The staff is awesome and the place is perfectly located. Finding the hotel by car is a little difficult if you don't know Granada well. Ave. Recogida appears closed, but you can drive down it if you have a reservation at the hotel. If we had known that before, it would have saved us an hour of driving through Granada. The staff was especially helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel! A lot of people on this site have complained about noise. i don't know what they expected from a hotel in a city?? We stayed on the street side and slept very well. It was significantly quieter than our apartment in NYC.

The Juan Miguel is a really great hotel. Perfectly situated for access to all the things worth seeing in Granada. The room we had at the front of the hotel was enormous with a great marble bathroom and had a queen sized bed. The only slight downside that's worth mentioning was that because our room was at the front we did get some traffic noise. However, this wasn't a problem for us and I would happily stay in the same room again. If you want a quieter room, I guess you could ask for one at the back of the hotel but it's probably worth noting that these looked smaller on the plan (though still more than adequate!). We got great service from their very friendly staff and made use of their laundry service which was also excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to people going to Granada.

This hotel was in a wonderful, central location. It was easy to find, and parking was just 50m down the street from the front door. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and extremely spacious. The room was quiet, and was easy to access with big bags. The bathroom was clean as well. I would definitely stay here again should I ever visit Granada again!!

Positive: central, inner city is in walking distance, hotel offers good and rich breakfast (did not await that at the first look on the hotel), price was fair (room 50 Euros, plus 10 Euros breakfast p.P.) Negative: as we expected, the room was noisy at night (from traffic and loud people), the bathroom and the interior of the room has seen better days…I would say like a typical city hotel in southern Europe.

Excellent value for the price- clean, great location, cable TV. The staff was very helpful. The only thing is that the pipes from the other rooms are loud while the showers are running. I would definitely stay there again. Parking available across the street in a parking garage below the plaza- you can pay 10 euros per day through the hotel. Taxi stand right in front. Signs in town make it easy to find.

The hotel is in good location not far from attractions and in the shopping area. We didn't have a car so the confusing traffic was no problem for us but could be a problem for those arriving by car. The only minor problem with the room was the lack of a minibar or a refrigerator.

Hotel was very well priced and in an excellent location. Parking is available but is behind the hotel and needs some finding in the one-way system. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The rooms was warm and comforatable buit had a poor view into the central well. Noise level in rooms was high, you could hear the bath water running from next door. Overall an excelelnt choice for one or two nights in a great city.

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. We were there for two nights in Oct. Our room was at the front which more interesting and the noise level was quite acceptable. It would be good if they could quote a B&B price as well as room only. We did have breakfast there and it was an excellent buffet which filled us up for the day, but we felt it was rather expensive (9 Euros each. There are some very good pavement cafes outside with wonderful coffee if you wish to people watch. It took us a while to get to the hotel due to the one way system we got stuck on! We loved Granada and will use the Juan Miguel again when we return.

1-When I arrived to Juan Miguel Hotel, the recepcionist told me she did not get a notice about what type of room we wanted. Meaning that VENERE did not give them the info about double bed, queen size, etc... In any case I finally got a pretty nice room with a king size bed. 2-Pretty bad!! their parking was (I guess) very small. The 2 parking areas on that street were completely full and we had to wait almost an 1:30 to be able to get a spot at the parking on the other side of the street (Acera del Darro). Thanks.
