The hotel is on a major thoroughfare with convenient bus and taxi service. It is within a short walk of major shopping areas. If you like long walks (as we do), you can get to Alhambra and Albaicin from there. But it is in a rather homely urban stretch. One night clerk ignored us. But two others were WONDERFUL - they gave good advice, went out of their way to help with travel reservations etc. The breakfast was so-so.

An excellent location for anyone visiting Granada - especially any attending events at Congress Centre - 6min flat walk. Rooms not large, but who spends time in the room except to sleep! Clean everywhere, very friendly helpful English speaking staff. Buffet breakfast was included in my tariff and was OK, not great - fresh and good quality though. Double glazed windows, heavy curtains so dark & quiet rooms for those with jet lag. A/C worked and was quiet too - a must as my street facing room with small balcony had to have door closed. Only flaw - I booked non-smoking and got smoking room - fortunately well cleaned and ventilates so not really a problem so disn't change. Would definitely stay there again - and Granada for tourism: superb!

The hotel was excellent for standard and the staff were very friendly. It is very well situated for visiting the city sights and the tour bus, 'hop on hop off' has a bus stop in that street. We walked to most places except for using the tour bus to see the main sights. It was also a short walk to the bus to go to the Alhambra so all in all very conveniently situated. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby so it was easy to eat at all times of the day. We loved the open air plazas for eating in the evening, followed by a gentle stroll back to the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Handy because airport bus stop in front, supermarket across the road. But the road is so busy and noisy. We asked to change to back room but they are only singles/doubles and we needed twin. As someone else mentioned. 3rd floor, aircon not working first night, but they got it cranked up by second and after that ok mostly, but this sounds like ongoing thing. Front staff, Belen and the other lass, FANTASTIC and so helpful and cheerful. Location was great, hotel itself was very nice otherwise. I would stay there again...

I will definitely recommend this to anyone. It is close to the attractions and the price is reasonable. The airport bus stops just in front of the hotel. Furthermore, it is only 15 minutes walk to get the bus to Alhambra and also to Albaicin. Granada is a very lovely city. Tips: You should reserve the tickets online to avoid the long queue to enter Alhambra.

We took the 3-person room and it was really small. The third bed was below the big bed and it was facing door - my feet towards the door. It's a cramped space. The place is strategic but it is not at all close to the castle. Other than that, it was all good.

Très bon hôtel. Accueil sympathique.

Great value for the money! The hotel is located right in the middle of Granada, within an easy walk everywhere. We were given the only room in the fourth floor, which had a small terrace and great views of the Sierra Nevada. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast for about 10 euros, but you have the option of getting just toasts and coffee for about 3 euros. A better option: a cafeteria in the back of the hotel: better coffee and an awesome breakfast for less! The hotel staff was really nice. The hotel is right in front of a bus stop that takes you to the airport. I think the bus from the Renfe station also stops in fron of the hotel, otherwise, it was about 8 euros from the train station to the hotel.

Make sure not to stay in a room close to the elevator. Some guests are so rude that they don't care about how loud they are even at 2 in the morning. I do not like bathrooms wherein the shower and bathtub are combined and only half the tub is covered with glass. The bathroom floor always gets wet and messy! Unfortunately, this is the european way!

A very welcoming, clean and comfortable hotel. Situated not far from El Corte Inglés department store. Hotel is virtually last stop on airport bus coming into Granada. Convenient for other bus stops. Spacious room. We did suffer one noisy night from bank holiday traffic otherwise slept well. Satisfying breakfast. Would recommend hotel to family and friends. Will use Venere again.

Very well located in center; we walked up to the Alhambra in 20 mn while visiting the city, no need for bus or taxi. Hotel Dauro is in the main street of Granada so very convenient for shops and cafes and we could walk to the Allhambra. The down side is that the street is quite noisy at night. Our room was very small but very well furnished. We could not leave the window open at night because of the noise and so had to have the airconditioning on all night. Parking was a bit of a problem as the hotel had no more car parking space when we arrived and we had to find a public car park - which cost us more for 1 day's parking than the hire of the car for that day! However the hotel was less busy for the following nights and able to take our car which was brought out whenever we wanted it.

Spent 2 nights in Granada. The hotel was well located - easy to get around by foot or catch a bus - and the staff friendly and helpful. However, the room was too cramped and smelled of smoke, and when the window was open, you could hear the street noise.

Hotel Dauro was the best Hotel we stayed out during our trip through Andalucía and it wasn’t the most expensive. We decided to extend our stay an extra night because we were comfortable. Underground parking is provided, the valet takes care of this for you and is charged at an additional 14.50 euros a day (which is quite the standard in Spain). It was centrally located, close walking distance to all the sites. If driving, be sure to do your homework or use GPS because many of the streets in the inner-city are one way or blocked.

After having difficulty finding several other hotel on our trip we were worried about Granada, having heard it was not an easy town to find our way. What a surprise we found it exactly by directions on the internet. The location was great - walking to nearby sites (but not Alhambra) was a pleasure. The staff helped park and retrieve our car which was really great.

Nice hotel in nice position. The only negative critics are about the parking, because also if very near is very complicate to arrive there. The parking is also expensive, from 21:00 to 9:00 I spent 16 Euro! Another little problem is how to rich the hotel by car, my navigator was not able to find it, and the Sevilla road labyrinth is really impossible. It need some tables indicating the hotel direction, as I saw for other hotels. I my town, Padova, any hotel is too much better indicated.

The hotel and its location was perfect. We had a very enjoyable stay. Even with a room overlooking a very busy street, the curtaining and balcony doors kept out a good 90% of the noise. One gripe though, the air conditioning had been switched over to hot air; outside, despite it being early November, the temperature was reaching 26 degrees! We did find that the room was too hot at times. We did ask for it to be switched off, but it was fixed! That said, we would use the Dauro again.

The hotel was extremely clean and in a good location. It was near the centre of Granada and also an easy walk to restaurants and shops. We chose to eat breakfast at the hotel and although there was not a huge choice, it was very convenient but a little expensive. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the reception staff spoke really good English. They were happy to ring for taxis whenever we needed one. The room was slightly noisy because it looked out over a main street in Granada and also because the locals eat late at night. A good hotel.

The Dauro Hotel ( there are two near each other) is well located in Granada Spain by being within walking distance of several tourist venues but has most bus line and particularly the airport bus stop right out front. The hotel is nicely appointed but not fancy. The breakfast offered was quite good for the cost 8 euros. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants close by too.

Albergo perfetto.

Unici difetti: no frigo bar in camera e internet a pagamento.
