Hotel Casablanca - Granada

I arrived and had to wait about ten minutes to check in as the receptionist was busy with other customers. I was not greeted very kindly once I checked in. I was given the keys to a room but they didn't explain where it was. I opened the room and saw that it was still very messy, the bed had not been made and the room had not been cleaned. This was at 6pm in the evening. I was not given any apologies for this, but was instead told to try another room and was given the keys to that one (which was smaller than the one I had booked). This room was not messy, but it smelled of cigarette smoke everywhere. The air conditioning did not work well and opening the small window did not help. The wifi was very slow and kept disconnecting. The one desktop computer they had available at the reception was out of service. Breakfast was not included. The TV did not have a remote control, and the buttons on it were broken so it wasn't possible to change channel. The room was extremely small. On a more positive note - the room was cheap (EUR 30) and the hotel was very central (in a small and dark side road). Although, I would not recommend it.

Absolutely poor quality of room and standard. No soap in the bathroom. Very small room, very noisy with on street traffic, uncomfortable bed and pillows, very disappointed and wouldnt stay again. Great location but that is all it had to offer. Very dated and needs money spending on the hotel.

this is the first time I stayed at Hotel Casablanca and I am soddisfact. There was a good interaction with staff.

This double ensuite room was only 30 euros, great price. Reception lady was really friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the flamenco night she booked for us. There is a lot to do in Granada and the hostel is pretty centrally located. We found free parking in a street 10 minutes away from it. Room got a bit loud from time to time (water pipes).

We only paid 30 euros/night!!!! and I thought it was a great bargain. Casablanca is located right in the middle of everything......shopping, eating out and sightseeing is only minutes walk. Location is 10/10. Rooms are not too impressive but then you can't expect much for 30 euros a night !!! My room was not too spacious but the bathroom was nice (and clean). There was no phone in the room. Breakfast was not included. The lady at the reception was nice and helpful and so was the gentleman. There English was surprisingly good. Anyways, I've stayed in all kinds of hotels..... from the very expensive ones to the basic motels AND I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHO IS ON A BUDGET BUT STILL WANTS TO MAKE THE MOST OF HIS/HER STAY IN THIS BEAUTIFUL TOWN. Good luck !!!!

Good: location, staff. Bad: Bedmattress!, impossible to get coffee before 8 am.

it's ok for one/two night in granada, in the city centre, you don't need to take public transport, parking next to the hotel with special price for hotel guests, our fare was very cheap.

I spent only one night. Very fair price. Perfect for short journey. Rooms not always silent. Overall: good!

nice n well located

Casablanca is in a narrow street in the city centre. Everything you need is at walking distance. My room (209) was recently refurbished. It was very clean, spacious (the bathroom as well) but noisy due to works to the building just in front of the hotel. Good price/quality ratio. I would return to the Casablanca again. P.S. During my stay, most of the guests were muslim people. Bear it in mind if you are sensitive to this.
