A very enjoyable stay. Hotel is lovely. The owner is very friendly and helpful if there are any problems. Very helpful in getting us a rental car. Breakfast was light and very good. The bus left us off at the wrong stop and the owner drove to pick us up. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Very clean. Extremely hospitable. Staff provides useful/accurate information. Breakfast for 3.50Euros was generous. Access to/from the Alahambra as well as to town can not be beat. I would return to the Albero and would recommend it. This is the consensus of the four persons traveling in our party. Rooms facing main street are noisy if the windows are open, but there is a good sound barrier when closed. It is a bit up the hill if walking, but has good access and street parking by car. Worth every Euro. Excellent value for price.

Hotel Albero was an excellent choice for us. Location is easy to get to by car, without contending with city traffic. Street parking was available most days, although one night we were given access to the garage as the street was full. Bus service downtown is frequent, cheap and quick. Breakfast was good value. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a good time at this hotel. The room were clean and the staff helpful. The breakfast was good but not unlimited. The coffee was excellent. Near the Alhambra and the city centre. Would go back again. Value for money.

As other reviewers have noted, the couple who run this hotel are very kind and helpful. The rooms are a little small, but sufficient for our needs. Was easy to take the bus into the old town, but not much nearby except a snack bar and one restaurant. Take bus to the Alhambra, as others recommend. Simple, clean, and very quiet.

Limited choice of restaurants in walking distance of hotel. Bus to Alhambra & other routes very close by. We enjoyed our stay & found our hosts extremely helpful.

Clean and quite cheap - really good for the tourists with their own car, not so good that came to Granada without the car, as it is situated around 15 min by bus from center. We were really satisfied with the hotel.

The rooms are a bit like dorm rooms, a bit small with some antique furniture. Very good value for the money, but do not think you are getting a 99 Euro room for 44 Euros. Very good value. Parking can be tough, not many places on street, we goi the last one at a time when it was not so busy.

The proprietor who welcomed us was extremely helpful pointing out bus routes with separate timetable and a map showing various places we might want to see and the nearest bus stop to them. The room was of a good size(double bed) spotlessly clean with en-suite bathroom (shower)extra blankets/ pillows and plenty of coathangers. The breakfast which was 3euros extra per person consisted of orange juice ,coffee(or other drink of choice)croissant and toast with jam marmalade and pate. If you wanted extra you only had to ask. Secured car parking was 5euros per night which was worthwhile as the bus services were very good and only 1.20euros per person per journey but car parking in Granada was impossible unless you knew your way round and at that the public transport was very good value.

The map indication is fine ... it would have helped if the written address was recognisable on my satnav. Parking on the (quiet) street outside very easy. Public Transport from the Hotel to the centreof Town / Alhambra very easy. Get a travel credit card and its cheap as well as every 8 mins. Very helpful and friendly staff, couldn't have asked for better.

Excellent service, nice comfortable room with the basics (ac, basic tv, closet, wi fi, hair drier) Personnel extremely nice and helpful. 2 bus lines take you anywhere in about 10 minutes or less. it was our first time staying there and the price, personnel, cleanliness made up for the distance from the center

This is a good budget hotel. Just as advertized. I selected it because I had a rental car and it was outside of the central city. I was able to park on the street without any problem. However, the beds were very hard and not too comfortable. Also, I was given a room on the main floor very close to the lobby/reception and directly across from the breakfast room. The hall is tiled and noise carried very much. Perhaps the noise would not be such a problem on the upper floors.

We stayed in Granada for 5 days and this hotel was very convenient. Although out of town, a regular bus service got you to town and Alhambra in no time and there was also a direct bus link to the bus station at the other side of the city. We hired a car for a few days and the location close to access to highways was great. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very adequate every morning. The room and bathroom were spacious enough. I would definitely stay again.

Although very simple, it is a very nice hotel with a very friendly staff, always willing to help! It is a little far from the city center but very close to the best attraction of Granada: The Alhambra! I went there walking (approx. 30 min) because I wanted to enjoy the great view, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that communicates with all the places! It is a great option for those who do not want to spend much and want to know one of the richest cities in the Spanish culture.

This is a 1 star hotel. No fancy facilities that you will never use. It gives an inexpensive, clean room, which for a budget traveller is all you really need. The staff were wonderful. They will do anything to make your stay comfortable. While not in the central Granada area it is well served by the #33 bus to downtown and the #13 bus to the Alhambra. Also, the touristic bus stops very close to the hotel. We had a rental car and were pleased to not have to drive downtown. By car, it is very easy to find. We loved Granada and if we ever return we would stay at the Albero again and do not hesitate to recommend it. If all you need is a cheap, clean place to stay, go to the Albero.

Only 1 star but the Albero provides all you really need and the staff will do anything to make your stay a happy one. The hotel is fairly new so all the buildings etc are in excellent condition. The Albero is on the #33 bus route into the city and the #13 bus route to the Alhambra. We parked our rental car and used the buses to get around. Being out of the city it was easy to get to the Albero on the excellent spanish highway system.

Quietness of rooms was well, unfortunately barked a dog 2 h at the night. The hotel was a very good start to the Alhambra, too for a walking to the oldtown in the evening, about 25 minutes. The hotel is in this pricegroup exellent, I can it recommend my friends.

Silenzioso e pulito.A me è andato bene

This hotel was fabulous. The people who worked there were friendly, welcoming and helped me with my visit. The hotel is located near the Alambra but a bit of a way from downtown and other areas. However, the public bus system is very accessible--the hotel staff explained this. Bus #33 or 35 goes right fromt the hotel to the bus station, another convenience. In addition the red tourist bus stops every 30 minutes on the main road outside of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!
