Grand Hotel Le Zagare - Gragnano

We had 6 people celebrating my parents 60th anniversary. The staff at LeZagare are the absolute best. They are very professional and treated us as if we were royalty. I hope to return to this hotel on a future visit to Italy. The hotel was gorgeous, spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with amazing 360-degree views from the rooftop terrace. The staff is gracious and accomodating, and we had one of our best meals in Italy here. You must try the local Gragnano wine and pasta--truly superb. The room we had was large, with a double-size terrace; a great value for the price. On the negative side, we wanted to walk around the town and the hotel is situated away from any shopping or commercial areas, and there are no sidewalks on the curving roads surrounding the hotel. Also, the hotel could use more staff who speak English. They seem to specialize in hosting weddings and most of their guests are Italian, so maybe they don't need to use English on a daily basis. Between our basic Italian and their basic English we communicated.

Very recommendable Hotel for young couples. The hotel director and his staff have made us feel very comfortable staying at Villa Zagare. Gragnano is a good starting point to see the seightseeing spots as Pompeji, Vesuv, Capri as well as very nice clean beaches.

The hostesses didn't speak english and french properly. They were unable to provide a map of the area. The hotel is beautiful with marbles and luxurious furniture. The swimming pool is much smaller than we expected. The location is perfect if you want to visit pompei and the sorrentin coast

Wonderful surprise, Gragnano is a cross point between Sorrento Coast and Amalfi Coast.If you dreamt a sunny wedding location, is the right place.
