Best location in Roussillon. Comp hotel parking right outside the door- this is important! Great room and bath, excellent english speaking host. Eat thier breakfast in the Clos de la Gycine (translates into "room with wysteria vines"). Eat dinner on their terrace overlooking the ocre hills. Great jumping off point for other Luberon towns.

Everything about Le Clos de la Gylcine and Russillon was wonderful. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. We had a memorable dinner at the hotel's Restaurant David.

By car
From Paris, proceed on the A7 motorway, and exit at 'Avignon' or 'Avignon Sud'. Proceed on the N100 national road, following the APT direction. Then proceed on the D2 road until Gordes and Roussillon.

By train
From Avignon train station: 40 km.

By airplane
From Avignon airport: 35 km.
