Location excellent. good staff. very excellent bar restaurant

Enjoyed our stay in a lovely city and a lovely hotel with excellent staff.

The only fault we could find with the hotel was the noise level. As all rooms have laminate flooring there is not even carpet to deaden people moving around. Also street noise was very loud Everything else about the hotel was great

Hotel was well situated in the city center and not far away from the train station. Rooms are very small, and dark. No real windows. Walls thin and noisy.

Good location. Nice common areas. Good breakfast. Room a little dingy and old, and it was a smoking room when I requested non smoking (was too tired to ask them to change it), but the hotel was convenient and the staff was nice.

Have stayed twice at the Peninsular, and would thoroughly recommend it. Excellent location, great value and extensive continental breakfast. Ideal for a short stay in Girona. The only problem was the bathroom, which could do with refurbishment, especially the shower.

The location was great,which is why I stayed there. I actually thought it was a little over priced compared to the huge room in Tarragona what was much less and also had a great location. We stayed in Girona 3 days for the first time.

Unbeatable location. Basic but spotlessly clean accommodation. Nice breakfast with lots of choice.

The hotel hasn't been refurbished since a very long time. Not a 3 star at all.

Stupisce il fatto che l'hotel abbia solo una stella. Dal poco che abbiamo potuto vedere (ci siamo stati solo per una notte) merita molto di più. Camera spaziosa e pulita, colazione a buffet compresa nel prezzo.

I enjoyed my stay in Girona very much, it is a lovely city. The friend I was travelling with had a fall in the old town, and the receptionist was very helpful. He wrote a note to the taxi driver in Catalan to explain what had happened so that she had extra help with her bags. In all the hotel was ideal for our purpose, very clean and centrally located. I liked the way Venere sent me a text with the booking details as soon as I made the reservation. Thank you!

We wanted a few days to explore Girona prior to a horse riding holiday in Northern Spain. This modern hotel was well postitioned to explore old Girona town. We found it easy to commute to Barelona for a day-trip via the near-by train station. Overall, a relaxing, peaceful stay with friendly staff and a high standard of cleanliness.

The rooms are clean but with very old furniture and old style. Only the bathroom was modern and ok. When you enter in the room it gives you a sad sensation. The situation of the hotel in the middle of the center is perfect. Breakfast is good but reception service is very cool and shows no interest. They are only chatting and even don't say hello or look at you when you enter in the hotel.
