Hotel Carlemany - Girona

Great central location would have been nice maybe to offer a leaflet suggesting the best eating experiences in the town.They should supply coffee/tea making facilities in the room.(note to visitors to bring coffee and travel kettle as cafe doesnt open until 07.30am)good reception staff who organised an iron and plug adaptor in minutes. good cafe situated off the reception area, nice coffee although as per this area of spain they don't understand the need for mug size cup of coffee. only one pillow per person on the bed which was too hard and the extra pillow found in he wardrobe was cushion size which did not add to the comfort level. very clean hotel and friendly staff which made the trip even more enjoyable

Been to Girona before but first time at Hotel Carlemany. Cafe excellent, good service, reasonably priced. Ideally located for sightseeing.

This hotel is perfect, as usual. I have been there 3 times during the 2 last years and every time, I have been fully satisfied. The restaurant "El Pati verd" is very good and the waiter -Xavier - very professional, very helpfull and very kind.

Hotel Carlemany is ideal for a weekend break to Girona - Girona was a real treat - what a beautiful city. The hotel is ideal - being very close the the local bus station - and not too far from the old city! Would recommend both the hotel and Girona to anyone looking for a really nice weekend away!

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff who were very helpful. Location ideal for exploring the old city centre and 10 mins from the Railway Station. Nice large room and a very nice bar. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel cómodo,profesional,moderno. Excelente para conocer Gerona

Bar closed whilst we were there. Attached cafe soulless. Had good (but not cheap) lunch in restaurant with attentive and interested staff. Breakfasts not so good with truly dreadful coffee from dispenser in middle of buffet. Getting into old town was easy and felt like a shorter walk than described in the guidebook we had available. The underground carpark was very convenient - If I was going again I would obtain as detailed a street map as possible for Girona first. There were good sign posts for the hotel once we were in the vicinity.

We staid one full day. enough for visiting all of Força Vella, day and night. Especially the jew Museum Bonastruc ça Porta and the cathedral. We had a good breakfast at the hotel but no other meals. Outside, we enjoyed tapas at Boira, plaça de la Independencia.

This hotel is excellent; the room I stayed in was very spacious and comfortable.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were very small. Breakfast wasn't great . The hot food was overdone and cold for breakfast.

My only comment is that being canadian, i'm sensitive to smoke and it seemed that the room had had a smoker before, but i suppose this is typical of europe. the great thing about this hotel is that allow you free use of the internet. there is a terminal that you can use for 30 mins at a time.

Very easy for sight seeing and direct elevator from car park to your room floor. Good hotel if you have a seat at Can Roca.

High quality room and cleanliness. Free internet access was excellent. Didn't get chance to use any of the other facilities, but I would use this hotel again.
