Definitely need a car. Not many restaurants in the area and not much to do. Overall the staff was very welcoming and cordial. Hotel restaurant is excellent. Enjoyed our stay since we had a car and would return again.

Nice staff, very good breakfast, close to Como and even to Malpensa if you can't find anything closer and have a car. Free parking. Ok rooms. Street that it is on have nothing but couple of pizzerias so only recommend for travellers with Cars. To drive to como for evening is entirely not out of the question. pricing is questionable, higher side of 3-star joints.

We made reservations at Concord, only because it said there was a shuttle to/from the airport and train stations, and that they spoke English there. Their English is very poor and it was difficult to understand their directions on how to get to the hotel. They would not pick us up from the train station, and when asked about the shuttle, the response was "Ah, there is no shuttle. We cannot possibly have someone on staff all the time for a shuttle." We ended up paying 44 Euro for an unmarked 'taxi', with no meter, that the hotel called for us to take us 20km to the airport. I think it was a huge rip-off, and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was only an average hotel. The best thing about it was the staff referred to an excellent restaurant nearby "Le Isole", where we had one of the best meals of our trip. Also, the breakfast the next morning was excellent, varied and ample. There were two problems. One is that it is NOT possible to take a cab from Saronno to Gerenzano, as no cabs are available, contrary to what the hotel told us. Perhaps with prior reservation, but trying to get one at the train station, forget it! Traveling by car, this would not be an issue, of course. The second problem I had was that the carpeting in the hotel was pitifully dirty - looked like a one- or two-star facility. The staff was courteous and helpful, though not as warm as some of the others we encountered on our trip.

Good Hotel. Have a detailed map of this area, hard to find hotel otherwise. Allow time for traffic in getting to Malpensa if leaving on a weekday morning.

The hotel was severly overpriced for what you got. Old and in desperate need of a revamp, it definately did not compare to other 4 star hotels we stayed in in Italy. The staff were quite helpful and pleasant...

This hotel was advertised as an Airport hotel for Malpensa and it was 45 mins away. Also the minibar interior was rusty and it had two cans of coke and a bottle of water in it!! I have never stayed in such a poor hotel before and it was not cheap !! I was very disappointed

Transfer from the airport was charged 64Euro instead of 44Euro. The reason was one hour delay of flight which chould be easisly checked by the driver. It would be nice if he mentioned before we got on the car. The night we checked in, the front lady told us the manager would refund the money following morning which did not happen.

Nice, clean, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. A bit out of the way: needs better directions on the web site and a better map.

We stayed during the heat wave, when temperatures were as high as 37, and the aircondition in the room could not handle that level of heat. Breakfast was very nice. The preson at the front desk was extremely helpful, offering our friend to take her to the train station and save her trouble. When they got to the station he helped her get her ticket and carried her luggage for her. I was impressed.

The hotel is half an hour from the Milan Malpensa Airport. It's a reasonable place to sleep before an early morning outbound flight.

This hotel was listed as a four star facility, as I recall. It is not. It is comparable to a two star facility that I accepted in Aix-en-Provence because nothing wlse was available. I expected more. The directions about how to find the hotel in your web page were difficult for us to follow. The staff was very wourteous and helpful and are to be commended. This is an older hotel in a rough area. The restaurant that adjoins it (not a part of the hotel) is genuinely awful.
