We enjoyed our stay very much even though we stayed only one night. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Would definately go back. It was also nice to meet someone from the country as us. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very comfortable, with perfect breakfast, very helpful staff!!! The location almost in the city center was great as well. Only the city itself isn´t so nice but the hotel was perfect.

Unpreposing exterior but ideally situated to explore the city. Rooms basic but comfortable. Desk staff very helpful. Not suited to anyone uncomfortable on stairs, as the lift is very small.

All of the staff speak english and are very kind and always helpful. For breakfast there is everything you could want (bread, croissants, marmelade, cheese etc, yoghurt, cereals, fruit, tea and coffee...). At the Internet Point there are 30 minutes free every day, after that it costs 1 euro/30 min. The hotel is situated 30 meters from a shopping street and very near to the Brignole station. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. The only negative aspect is, that the rooms (at least the one I had) are very noisy. In conclusion, the hotel fulfilled all the aspects I needed and I would stay there again.

Room is quiet & clean, breakfast & Service is good. Difficult to find hotel location, difficult to parking. Room layout is unacceptable to Oriental, because it against Fengshui totally. You feel insecure while you sleep in the room.

Generally very happy with the stay. It was in a cute little area very close to the train station, though it was a smidge tricky to find. The last night there a very loud snorer was in the room next door and it actually kept me up for a while! Still, thin walls are pretty much theh norm in Italian hotels so what are you going to do.

The room was clean, very cold and austire, but this was an older hotel in a very commercial part of town. Definately not posh. The hotel was only 2 blocks from the train station, but not the Genoa Central station!!! This caused some confusion for me and I had to backtract to the correct station. For a short, overnight stay the hotel was adequate.

This fantastic hotel is in a strange location down a narrow street with a fair bit of graffiti. However, the rooms and services offered were outstanding and more than made up for the external appearance. The room was large, clean and comfortable with effective and quiet air conditioning. There is a computer to access the internet, with free access for the first thirty minutes. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice of biscuits, jams, pastries etc.

Ofrece servicios correctos y está muy bien situado, muy cerca de la estación de tren de Brignole (3 minutos andando) y muy cerca del centro (10 minutos andando del P. Ducale). Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

We had a fabulous stay in Viale Sauli, the service was exceptional and the rooms were excellent value for money. The only minor gripe I'd have is that we were put in a smoking room and weren't asked which we preferred, and the rooms were quite bare and echoey. The power shower was amazing though! We'd definitely stay here again, I'd highly recommend it. The lovely NZ lady on reception really made our stay special. Thank you!

It's a really nice hotel, good breakfast and quiet but good people working at the hotel. the room was spacious and had basically everything needed. the location of the hotel is also quite good considering it's near the brignole station and still not much traffic surrounding it (quite rare in genova). all in all a good hotel.

We booked one day less than we planned by accident, but the hotel receptionist sorted out the problem well, although it was the busiest time and the booking was almost full. Among 4 hotels we stayed during our trip thoughout Italy, Viale Sauli staff commanded English most well (it seemed rare that *all* receptionist at any time could speak the required language in Italy).
