Hotel La Capannina - Genoa

We enjoyed our stay at the Capannina & would recommend it to anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Poor breakfast. the rest was perfect, even if we had to pay parking (but in genova to park is difficult)

The parking lot is so small that you have to leave your keys at the entrance and the guy just scratched our car !!! And he did not want to recognise his responsability. The breakfast is really just not OK - nothing fresh, no real Milk, no real Tea !!! The location is OK, next to the beach and some cheap restaurants and pizzerias. Still it is much further from downtown than expected.

Good location, quiet surrounding. Very spacious room, but quite worn down. Bathroom needs overhaul. Breakfast was about the worst I've ever seen in Italy.

Excellent location - 10 minutes from Genoa center by taxi or bus and feeling like in resort - seeside promenade, residental area..

It's horripilant. I will never return to this hotel.

We had a quad room. It was a little crowded, but great value for the cost. The people at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very nice - we particularly enjoyed being able to sit in the breakfast room and have as much coffee as we wanted. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Genoa.

We had good service and a pleasant stay

Although I booked and paid for an aparthotel with a three star rating, I was lodged in a shabby apartment, seperate from the hotel, with a rating of one star by the local authorities. This was never indicated on the site and reservation form.

We had a great stay and want to come back in the future. The hotel staff were very polite. The area around the hotel is convenient for busses, and food. Walk to the beach area is also convenient.

We enjoyed our stay in La Cappanina Hotel in Genova very much. Thank you! General remark: it is very important for us to be able to communicate with the hotel staff in English.

We needed air conditioner.

When I made my reservation I specifically asked for space to park my car and trailer. No such parking was avalilable, I had to squeeze the trailer in between two cars on the other side of the street and we had to lift the trailer by hand up on the side walk to not block the street traffic. My car, a Volvo V70 was parked at the hotel car park and it scraped both the suframe and tow hook into the ground. The hotel itself is ok, a bit worn perhaps, could use some new furnitures. Breakfast was not really what we expected and are used to in Sweden, but surely a full and good one for an Italian.

At the front desk they don't know nothing about the internet request for the room, they don't have the right room (matrimonial with 1 child bed) but only a twin room. After our protest they found a child bed and collocate it in the twin room, very hot and without air conditioning. They did a discount to compensate the difference in the kind of room and services.
